The week went on pretty smoothly. I spent most of my days working hard, and I was surprised when Madam Royce gave me money for the work I did in the two months I've been here. I received another Cupid gift from Layth. This time, it was a wristwatch. I didn't use his things because I wanted to return them once I saw him, but he hadn't come, so I kept them safely.
I also received a note from my mystery admirer. He has been kind with words, but it wasn't signed. I remained hopeful he would reveal himself before I left this pack.
" Do you still feel unwell?" Azura asked when I entered the car. Lately, I've been sick and can't keep anything I ate in my stomach without throwing it out.
