EMBER “No! No!" I screamed continuously as I jerked up from the bed. Looking around, I tried to make sense of the darkness and shake off the memories of the dream, but it kept haunting me like a ghost. My mother’s ghost was very stubborn, and it was so hard to bring her under some control. Why did she keep coming? "Oh, Moon Goddess!" I mumbled as I made my way to the bathroom. I walked over to the sink, and placed my head under the shower, before turning on the water faucet. Clear white water cascaded down my hair which made me feel so much better. The effects of the nightmare had slowly gone down in its numbers, and I was beginning to feel like myself.
