CHAPTER FIVE THE MORNING SEEMED to arrive way before Lily was ready for it to dawn. After hitting the alarm on her phone for the fifth time, Cassie had finally told her to get out of bed; they were running out of time. Her daughter had even yanked the pillow out from underneath her head. She would have grounded Cassie if she thought she could have gotten away with it. Life was so not fair. She had arrived back in her room long before Cassie did, which was odd since Cassie had left the bar before Lily. Once she had stripped down and slipped into something decent to sleep in while sharing a room with her daughter, she crawled under the covers and spent the majority of the night tossing and turning.
