“I’m sorry,” he said. “I didn’t realize you were here.” In retrospect, I realized he was lying, because even without his glasses he would have had to have seen my robe hanging on the door. In the moment though, I didn’t know what to think. He made no effort to move, and I just stared at his body, not saying a thing. He was beautiful, absolutely, f*****g beautiful. I looked him up and down, and he seemed totally relaxed with my perusal.
