CHAPTER SIX I had set the alarm for six, but I was up a little before five the next morning. Like any recent college graduate, I was used to going on only a few hours’ sleep, so it wasn’t much of a problem. I had not closed the curtains before I slept, so I had a great view of the sun just starting to rise behind the ocean. Normally, such a site would make me feel relaxed and peaceful, but today, I was anything but that.
