Azariah's POV:
After I sent Clayton away to go watch over Cameron, I approached the basement door quickly. There were dozens of guards rushing down the stairs towards what had happened. The fact that I saw so many going down told me that this was bigger than I had first anticipated. This also meant that there weren't going to be as many guards and vampires around the property.
I looked over the moment I smelled Emma's scent as she hurriedly scurried across the room with a load of laundry in her hands.
"Emma!" I shouted at her and she jumped, indicating to me that she was startled which doesn't happen often with a vampire, telling me that even she was scared about what was happening
She's been around for so long that she has seen a lot of things happen and for her to look worried
