What I didn’t tell Sasha was that I had been on their lands for over two hours. The whole situation with Tamara’s son had us on edge. And Justin was not actually far away from where I had been when Sasha had finally answered my text message. We had been hoping to see him and get him, before Tamara’s vision actually started to play.
So far, nothing.
I wouldn’t have called or texted if Drax hadn’t been so restless from being so close to her for a long time.
And I missed her.
I waited by the river, watching through the darkness as the armed men and women patrolled the area. Some discussed amongst themselves, while others actually took their jobs seriously.
And watching them for the past two hours made me wonder why they needed so many armed men on their grounds.
