Unsure of what to do, I changed into casual clothes and stepped out of the room. I had spent the whole morning and afternoon just hiding in there, after I had had a delicious breakfast with Nikolai. The kiss before he had left was everything to me, and I couldn’t wait for him to come back.
Oddly, no one had come to knock on the door of my room to say anything, but I did hear a few activities going on, meaning I was not alone in the house.
Now though, as I stepped out of my room. I was a little bit scared of meeting anyone. I didn’t want anyone to recognize me. Nikolai had told me before he left, that he was going to introduce me as his mate to quench the gossip in the pack, but I knew it wouldn’t do much, and would only excite his people further.
