Chapter 19 Beat Up The Ghosts

1825 Words
The three white figures outside the duty room pointed their fingers at the door as they were whispering. Ivan smiled as he stared at the phone, He walked gently to the door, unlocked it from inside and then slowly walked to the bed. Covering himself with a quilt, he pretended to go to bed.       Holding his breath, Ivan quietly listened to the footsteps outside the door. After a while, Ivan immediately snored when he heard the sound of the door opening.       The door was gently pushed open. A long-haired guy with a long tongue walked inside and approached the bed gradually. Ivan squinted at him as he was snoring.       Standing at the bed, the white figure took out a small pot from his pocket, about to spray it onto Ivan's face. Ivan opened his eyes abruptly, reached out and grabbed the guy's arm. The liquid in the pot was sprayed onto the wall. The white figure also let out a cry out of pain, and the pot dropped.       Ivan leaped up from the bed, intending to pull his long tongue. Suddenly, the door was kicked open. Two more white figures waved sticks in their hands as they pounced on Ivan.       Ivan pushed the guy out with force. He retreated two steps, directly crushed one of his pals and they fell to the ground together. A stick had already flown to Ivan. Ivan landed a kick on another guy's wrist. With a yelp, the stick fell on the ground. Ivan also landed with a laugh. "Come on. I want to see who you are?"       The three white figures took two steps back. The taller one quickly took out a paper bag from his pocket and threw it at Ivan. Ivan tilted his body and reached out to seize the paper bag. The three of them seized the chance to escape. Abruptly, Ivan strode forward and caught the short guy on his arm who fell behind, while the other two ran out of the teaching building and disappeared into the darkness.       Ivan smiled. It was unnecessary to chase the others anymore since one of them had been captured.       Looking back at the shivering short guy, Ivan kicked the door shut, turned on the light and reached out to rip the wig off. Sam's race was revealed.       Ivan said coolly, "Sam, remove your makeup, or you want me to do it for you?"       "Mr. Frank, we just joked around," Sam said with a shiver.       "No more nonsense. Hurry up." Ivan shouted.       Sam nodded, took off the long tongue from his mouth, and wiped his face covered with thick white powder.       "Take off your clothes." Ivan pointed his white robe.       Sam took off his white robe as soon as possible. There was sportswear inside. A Walkman was pinned to his waist. Ivan took the Walkman off and pressed a button. A woman's sobbing was produced.       Ivan turned off the Walkman and threw it onto the bed. He lit a cigarette before turning to Sam. "Okay, you're indeed well equipped. What are your pals' names? Is one of them Gino?"       Sam nodded.       "Who came up with this idea?" Ivan asked.       "Gino."       Seeing Ivan's piercing glance, Sam immediately told the truth. "I told him that you are on night watch today. Gino ordered me and Leon to do this. Mr. Frank, we just want to joke on you."       "Joke on me?" Ivan reached out and handed Sam the note. "Sam, as long as I hand your outfit and this note over to Principal Ailsa tomorrow, you'll surely be kicked out. Your dad is not a shareholder of the school, right?"       "Mr. Frank, please don't tell Principal Ailsa about this. I can't be kicked out, otherwise, my dad will beat me to death." Sam actually knelt out of anxiety.       Ivan howled, "Get up. You should admit what you did as a man."       "Mr. Frank, don't tell Principal Ailsa. I'll get up." Sam cried.       Ivan sighed softly, "I promise you. Get up quickly."       "Really?" Sam was still doubtful.       Ivan nodded. "If you didn't get up, I would change my mind."       Sam bounced up from the ground like a spring. "Mr. Frank, you mustn't change your mind."       Ivan smiled. "Sam, It's okay that I hide it from the principal and anyone else, but you must tell me in detail what happened tonight and how did you get into the school? ?"       Sam kept silent.       "What? Don't you want to tell me the truth?" Ivan kept a stern face.   "I will. Mr. Frank, I will tell you the truth," Sam hurriedly replied, "Gino did not succeed in plotting against you. To save face, he decided to find a chance to drive you away from Class 3. I happened to know that you would patrol the campus at night this afternoon, so I told Gino. Finally, we planned to be dressed as ghosts at night. These things were all prepared by Gino."       Sam pointed to the wig and white robe.       "Anything else?" Ivan demanded, staring at Sam.       "It was Eric who let us in. Gino gave Eric two bags of cigarettes. He promised to cooperate with us. Eric can check the surveillance video about the teaching building in the security room. When you patrolled the building at night, we knew clearly your whereabouts. As for the sense light on the seventh floor, it was Eric who turned them off. He also gave us the key to the duty room." Sam glanced at Ivan and said in a low voice.       Damn! Eric indeed got involved. Ivan cursed. "Was the school a cemetery before?"       "No." Sam shook his head immediately. "Gino made Eric say this just to scare you in advance. Mr. Frank, I have said everything I know, Can I leave now?"       Ivan lit a cigarette in silence.       Sam gazed at Ivan timidly. He wanted to say something but gave up out of fear.       Ivan put the cigarette out halfway. "Sam, take your things and go."       "Mr. Frank, you let me go?"       Ivan nodded.       "Will you tell Principal Ailsa?" Sam took a step forward as he stared at the note on the table.       Ivan picked up the note and lit it with a lighter. With a flickering, the note turned into ashes soon.       "Set your mind at ease now?" Ivan asked.       "Mr. Frank, you are indeed a good man." Sam hurriedly gave Ivan a thumbs-up.       "Okay, don't talk nonsense. I forgive you this time. If you dared to plot against me again, I would never forgive you." Ivan said word by word.       "Mr. Frank, I won't do it anymore." Nodding repeatedly, Sam picked up the equipment and ran. As soon as he reached the entrance, Ivan suddenly shouted, "Stop."       "Mr. Frank, what's wrong?" Sam turned around and asked timidly.       "If Gino would do tricks in the future, you must tell me in time. Can you do it?" Ivan walked to Sam.       Sam hesitated.       Ivan gazed at Sam.       Sam nodded immediately. "Okay, Mr. Frank. Since you keep your promise today, I will definitely tell you when Gino does tricks in the future."       Ivan smiled. "Go wash your face first. Or you'll be killed as a ghost on the road."       Sam smiled too. He made a face and ran away.       Ivan sat back on the bed and looked at his watch. It was two o'clock in the morning. What a thrilling night! It had been almost an hour since the three came in to launch a sneak attack. His physical energy had been almost depleted. Ivan was overwhelmed by weariness.        Ivan shook his head, pulled the curtains and glanced out of the window. The light in the guard room was on. Ivan decided to warn Eric as well. That guy was so repulsive.       Ivan took out a paper box from under the bed, put the hands into it and went out. As soon as he was about to knock on the door to the security room, the door opened. Eric rushed out with a baton in his hand. "Mr. Frank, what happened?"       "Eric, what are you doing with an electric baton?" Ivan asked.       "I heard the sounds in the building, so I am going to save you. Mr. Frank, have you encountered any ghosts?"       Eric's tone was serious.       Ivan nodded. "I did."       "Where are they?" Eric waved the electric baton while looking around.       "The ghosts have been kicked out by me, but they left some gifts. I want to give it to you."       "Gift? What gift?"       Eric asked.       "It's in the box." Ivan smiled.       Eric reached out, intending to open the box, but Ivan stopped him. "Don't open it now. Go back to the security room first. Otherwise, the ghosts will visit you then."       Eric looked at Ivan, Ivan nodded seriously.       "Okay. Let's come in." Eric invited Ivan to enter the guard room.       Ivan put the box on the table and turned the light off again. Only the street light streamed into the room through the window.       "Mr. Frank, why did you turn the lights off?" Eric asked with confusion.       "You must turn off the lights to see the gifts from the ghosts, otherwise, you won't be able to see them." Ivan was still quite serious.       "Mr. Frank, are you kidding? Was there really a ghost?" Eric twitched his mouth, his face full of disdain.       Ivan cursed in privacy. How dare he pretend that nothing had happened? They brought you two bags of cigarettes and you colluded with the students to plot against me. Now I have to teach you a lesson.       "Eric, you'll know if you open it. It's definitely something you didn't expect."       "Beyond my expectation?" Eric was intrigued. He touched the box but stopped again. "Mr. Frank, what's in it? You tell me first."       "Just open it. How come you're that timid? I thought you were a courageous man. It seems that you are a coward." Ivan showed his disdain.       "I am not a coward." Eric was pissed off. "Well, I'll open it at once." Eric opened the box abruptly. Coincidentally, a ray of car light streamed onto the pale hands. Eric screamed and slumped to the ground with his pale face. He pointed the box while shivering, "Dead man's hands."       Ivan turned on the light, took the hands out of the box, and shook them in front of Eric, "It's a toy made of silicone."       Eric wiped the sweat from his forehead. "Really?"       Ivan smiled and nodded. "Get up. Several students just pretended to be ghosts. How come you are almost frightened to death?"       Eric took another look at the hand. He got up from the ground, stepped forward and touched it carefully. "Damn. It's really a toy, but it indeed looks like a real one."       Eric's face suddenly darkened, "What the hell do you want? You deliberately tease me with this in the middle of the night. Are you courting for death?"   Eric turned around and picked up the electric stick on the bed.
