Chapter 21 Healing The Beautiful Principal

The moment Ailsa touched the phone, she suddenly frowned. The phone dropped to the table from her hand with a bang. Ailsa let out a scream as she pressed her chest tightly, "Oh, it hurts."       "Principal Ailsa, your chest is in pain again." Ivan hurried to get up.       Ailsa's face became paler. Sweat trickled down her forehead like fine beads. Her breathing was ragged, her chest moving up and down violently. Ailsa bit her lips tightly in silence.       Ivan was more anxious. He hurriedly poured her a cup of hot water. "Principal Ailsa, drink it."       Ailsa just took the water glass with her shaking hand. The water spilled on her hand as another sharp pain shot up.       Ivan didn't know what to do. Ailsa was already suffocating in pain.       "Principal Ailsa, I'll take you to the hospital." Ivan reached out to help Ailsa up.       Ailsa pointed weakly at the bag on the hanger.       Ivan froze and immediately opened the bag on the hanger. He fumbled and found a bottle of painkillers. Ivan poured out two pills and looked back again. With her eyes shut tightly, Ailsa had passed out on the chair.       "Principal Ailsa, Principal Ailsa." Ivan pushed Ailsa twice, but she didn't move.       Damn, what's going on? With his forehead soaked by the cold sweat, Ivan hurried to feel Ailsa's breath. She was still alive.       Ivan was about to carry Ailsa up. The screen of the phone suddenly flickered. After a while, the bell rang. Ivan picked up the phone hurriedly. "Hello."       "Ivan, did you let Ailsa touch the phone?" There came Jerome's worrying voice over the phone.       "Yes." Ivan hurriedly responded.       "You are so reckless. Ailsa can't touch this phone."       "Can't touch it? Why? She didn't press any button."       "She must stay away from the phone. I can't tell you the reason now."       "Jerome, Ailsa has fainted out of pain. I have to take her to the hospital as soon as possible." Ivan had no time to talk with him.       "It doesn't work at all. Point your phone at Ailsa and find a heart-shaped sign on her body. Put your right hand on the sign and hold the phone with your left hand. Start the physical energy input function. After a while, Ailsa will be fine."Jerome said quickly, "Got it?"       "Yes," Ivan replied hurriedly.       "Ivan, please remember that you can't let Ailsa touch your phone in the future without my permission. Never let Ailsa know about this," Jerome warned him again.       Ivan responded.       Jerome hung up.       Ailsa gritted her teeth with her eyes shut closely. Ivan paused for a moment, walked to the door and locked it from the inside. Back to Ailsa, he whispered. "Principal Ailsa, I'm sorry. Although I don't know what happened between you and the nether world, I can only follow his instructions to save your life."       Ivan pointed the phone at Ailsa and started the probing function. Ailsa's body was like a white jade that appeared on the screen. Ivan's heartbeat quickened.       There was nothing on her slender neck. Ivan moved the phone down. Through the lace-trimmed underwear, her plump bosoms were visible. Ivan couldn't help swallowing. It was more powerful than the x-ray. How tempting this function was!       Ivan patted his head quickly to collect himself. Ivan, you were a doctor now. You must focus on saving her life.        Ivan held his breath and scanned her chest. There was a red heart-shaped pattern just above her chest like a birthmark.       Got it. Ivan was overjoyed. He reached out but hesitated again. He couldn't touch the sign unless Ailsa took off her clothes.       Ivan scratched his head and felt Ailsa's breath again. It was getting weaker and weaker, almost imperceptible. He could not hesitate any longer. Gritting his teeth, Ivan unbuttoned Ailsa's coat with his shivering hands. He gently put his right hand into her shirt, pressed the heart-shaped sign with his palm. Her skin was as warm as jade. Ivan secretly sighed       As soon as this thought appeared, Ivan immediately cursed himself again. How come he still had such thought at the very moment?       Ivan calmed down, started the energy input function with his left hand. The process would begin in ten minutes.       The energy input started. Ivan gripped the phone with his left hand. A current surged along with his left hand, much stronger than the usual ones. It made him feel tingling. The current passed through Ivan's body and was quickly transmitted to Ivan's right hand. His palm turned red and hot.       Ivan's body began to shake, and his left hand holding the phone kept shaking, too. He was unable to control himself. The phone was getting hotter and hotter, just like a stove. Ivan was sweating. He couldn't hold the phone anymore and was about to drop it. Ailsa opened her eyes slightly, a hint of redness appearing on her cheeks.       She was getting better. Overjoyed, Ivan quickly grasped the phone tightly. At this moment, he must not let go of the phone. No matter how uncomfortable he was, he had to hold on.       There was a sudden knock on the door. "Principal Ailsa."       Ivan hurriedly held his breath, not daring to make a sound. The people who come in now would not only destroy the treatment but also would accuse Ivan of trying to seduce Ailsa.       The knock continued. Ivan's heart hammered. How come ten minutes were that long? It was almost as long as ten years.       Since no one responded, the person left. Ivan let out a sigh in relief.       Ivan checked the clock on the wall. Ten minutes would pass soon. Ailsa's complexion got better and better, her breathing turning even. The phone was not as burning as before. Ivan let out a sigh of relief.       Ten minutes later, Ailsa's eyelashes trembled slightly, as if she was about to wake up. Ivan hurriedly moved his hand, put down the phone, and was about to tidy up Ailsa's clothes in a hurry. Ailsa exhaled slightly and opened her pretty eyes. She landed her gaze on Ivan's hands.       Ivan's hands were still on Ailsa's shirt.       "Rascal." She slapped Ivan with great force.       Caught off guard, Ivan covered his face and froze.       She was about to land another slap on Ivan's cheek again. Ivan reached out and grabbed Ailsa's wrist. "Principal Ailsa, what are you doing?"       "What am I doing?" Ailsa shouted sharply, "You rascal, I thought you were an upright gentleman, but I didn't expect you to be so lecherous."       Ailsa's eyes were full of anger.       "Principal Ailsa, you misunderstood me. You fainted just now because of the pain. I had to give you a treatment."       "Treatment. You cured my disease?" Ailsa flushed with anger. She wanted to slap Ivan again, but her arm was grabbed tightly.       "Principal Ailsa, button your clothes first. I can explain." Ivan pointed to Ailsa.       Ailsa looked down, finding her coat was still unbuttoned. She flushed again, "Let go of me."       Ivan hurriedly let go of her hand and turned around. There came the squeaky voice behind him. It was Ailsa who was tidying her clothes. Ivan had to figure out quickly how to explain the whole thing to her.       After a while, he heard Ailsa whisper, "You can turn around."       Ivan turned around and smiled awkwardly. "Principal Ailsa, I really treated you just now. You passed out and were dying. I used the magic to save you. My family knows something about witchcraft."       "Witchcraft?" Ailsa was stunned, her gaze as sharp as a knife. "Are you lying?"       "Principal Ailsa, I didn't lie. I really saved you with the witchcraft. Feel it by yourself. Is your chest warm and makes you comfortable?" Ivan said cautiously.       Ailsa glanced suspiciously at Ivan as she touched her chest. She took deep breaths twice and said to herself, "I do feel warm. The pain has gone."       Ivan smiled, "Principal Ailsa, this is how my witchcraft works. I injected a burst of energy into your body to dissolve your pain, so you can wake up."       "Is it true? Why don't I know you know witchcraft?" Ailsa was still dubious.       "Of course it's true. I don't tell others about this. It's a secret." Ivan pretended to be mysterious. "Principal Ailsa, I only use magic when you are in danger. I'm also injured after saving your life."       "Do you mean I have to thank you?" Ailsa glanced at Ivan.       "That's not necessary as long as you just don't treat me as a hooligan. I really don't want to take advantage of you." Ivan smiled.       "Okay, stop." Ailsa waved her hand. "Ivan, even if you saved me just now, your behavior is also rude enough. Don't tell anyone what happened just now, otherwise, I will fire you."       "Okay. I promise." Ivan nodded repeatedly. It was not worth it to do deeds. Not only did he not get praised, but he was almost accused of being a rascal. Yet, it did feel good to touch her soft and tender skin.       "What are you thinking about?" Ailsa asked since Ivan was lost in thought.       "Nothing. I'm thinking about your words." Ivan replied hurriedly.       "Stop at once." Ailsa glared at him.       Ivan nodded again and again.       "Okay, go do your job, I'm fine." Ailsa sat back into the chair.       Ivan turned and walked towards the door. Ailsa shouted again, "Ivan, can you interpret dreams?"       "Interpret dreams?" Ivan was taken aback.       "I heard that anyone who knows witchcraft can interpret dreams. Can you do that?" Ailsa looked at Ivan.       "A little bit." Ivan paused, feeling that there was a mystery to be solved.       "I often have a dream. In my dream, I went to a strange place like a palace, but the surroundings were dark. I am the only one around. Every time I walked to the gate to the palace, I woke up at once. When I fainted just now, I seemingly had the same dream. Do you know the reason?"       Ivan looked at Ailsa's face full of confusion, "Principal Ailsa, what is the palace like?"       "It's beautiful, magnificent, but also terrifying, gloomy, and quiet. Just like an unmanned cemetery."       "The cemetery?" Ivan walked to Ailsa.       Ailsa nodded.       "Ivan, can you interpret this dream?"       Ivan was about to answer, Ailsa's phone rang. She picked it up hurriedly. "Okay, Director Oscar. I'll go over now."       Ailsa packed after hanging up. "Director Oscar of the Education Bureau asked me to go to the Education Bureau. We will talk about it later."       Ivan agreed and went out of her office with Ailsa. Watching Ailsa hurriedly walk away, Ivan was still reminiscing about the dream Ailsa just said. It must have something to do with the heart-shaped sign on Ailsa's chest. Maybe that was why Jerome asked him to come to Cincinnati Country Day School and get close to Ailsa.       But what was the answer? Ivan felt that he became more interested in Cincinnati Country Day School.
