Zanaya's POV

I started fanning my face after I sing in front of the artist that I'll be collaborating with for a special performance for a music show next week.

I'll be performing with my senior artists and I am so nervous. Who wouldn't?  The fangirl inside me is screams death if I mess this up.

"That was good, Zanaya" I bowed as I thanked my senior, David for praising me after listening to my song.

They asked each of us to sing so he'll know how to arrange our prod together.

"Do you know how to play XENO's monster?" he asked and I shyly nodded.

"Great, so you’ll be playing that while Chase sings and he'll play your song when it's your turn."

I shyly nodded as I smile curtly to Chase who is very kind and accommodating.

Rio was actually only older than me for a few days and though she is a senior, she was friendly enough to ask me to call her informally. ONCE and WHISTLE are actually quite close since Max and Cali had been friends with most of them since training days.

"We'll polish our parts tomorrow. So, let's all meet in the afternoon, sounds good?" Sir David said and we all bowed until he's gone for his next schedule.

Soon enough, Rio and I headed down to the hall where our members are practicing.

I peaked in the room and immediately smiled once I saw Tokyo sitting down taking a rest with Rina and some other girls.

She looked startled once she saw me and I quickly moved my way towards her.

"Zaya, what are you doing here?" she looked a little worried as she scans the place around.

"Why?  I have nothing to do since my practice ended so I'll just sit here and watch you." I said as I sat in between her and Rina.

Some other girls are within them as well so you wouldn't immediately notice me from afar.

"Zaya, I think I'd be home a little late. You can go early," she said too frantic.

"Ah, why?" I pouted. "Don't you want me here?" I cooed like a child.

Before she can even respond, my eyes landed on a group of individuals who just entered the dance hall.

Seth, laughing at what Sally had said.

"Hey, do you think they are really dating?" Rina asked Tokyo which made the later's eyes go wide.

"Ahm, I don't think so, maybe they're just friends," Tokyo said panicking.

I felt my insides boil.

Great. Seth f*****g Devon.

Are you testing my patience?

"But Sally has been staying with him the entire time," Yna added.

Fuck you, Seth.

"I noticed that too, though Seth looked uneasy at times. Maybe he's afraid of what people would think." Yana chimed in.

So they have been together since earlier, huh?

"Well, I don't think Seth and her are in a relationship." I looked around at what Dana had stated.

"Me too," Chanelle added. " Seth looked like he's a little nervous as if his real girlfriend would actually catch him cheating."

Tokyo giggled nervously at what Chanelle had said.

"No. I think we're just assuming things." she waved her hands. "I think they are just friends."

So this is why Tokyo wanted me out of here, so I wouldn't see things like this.

I balled my fist in anger after I saw Saly hitting Seth's shoulder laughing at what he said.

Ben and Yohan were talking with them as well.

I don't think Seth looked nervous.  In fact, he seemed to be having fun talking with her.

She's nothing to me, my ass. I grunt after remembering what Seth had said last time.

I was so frustrated that I didn't even realize that I was biting my lip a little too hard.

"Oh my God, Zaya, your lips are bleeding!" Rio noticed and gave me a handkerchief.

"Oh," I said as I tapped the corner of my lips to take off the blood.

Tokyo looked at me worriedly. She knows how I get affected by things like this immediately.

"Hey, Zanaya, are you okay?" she whispered and I just nodded in response.

We all turned back when we heard them laughing real loud until Chase came as well.

I thought he had already left.

I nodded a little when I saw his eyes landed on mine.

Great. One already noticed my existence.

I moved a little further to hide between Tokyo and Rina once I noticed him call Rio but then I heard Chase's voice calling my name.

What timing.

"Zanaya!" he said as he smiled at me asking me to come over.

I looked at him and my eyes landed on Seth's who seemed taken aback after realizing that I was here.

That's right. Be afraid. Because you won't be seeing the daylight after this.

Tokyo grabbed my hand and looked at me worriedly. "Would you like me to come with you?"

A sigh escaped my lips.

"I'm okay." I smiled as the other girls looked at us confused.

I tried to act a little cheerful so they won't suspect how deep underground my anger is right now.

This is all your fault, Seth. I said to myself.

I slowly moved my way out of the girls and headed towards Chase who's smiling at me. My eyes averted from Seth'sgaze.

I hate him.

I don't care if they are just friends. They don't act like one and I am a little disappointed that he's being like this when he knew exactly how I feel about this issue.

I guess he doesn't really care that much.

"Hi!" I said as I bow towards them, not forgetting the fact that I am all their junior.

"You should have heard her sing. She was so amazing!" Chase exclaimed.

"Ah, thank you sir." I can't help but feel shy.

"Hey, stop the sir, call me Oppa. I'm older." he smiled cheekily and I turned towards Seth's direction when I heard him cough.

"Chase, don't pressure her," he stated.

Two can play a game, Seth Devon.

"No, it's okay Oppa." I smiled sweetly at Chase and I was sure I saw Seth's face harden.

"Are you waiting for your member?" Ben asked.

I almost forgot how he and Tokyo are friends.

"Yes," I answered.

"By the way, I didn't notice you coming, have you been here the whole time?" Yohan asked.

Again, I felt my insides churn after remembering how I saw them coming in with Seth being too happy with Sally.

I mean, I have nothing against the girl. She'd been good to me and I have never heard anything bad from her. The problem is within me and Seth, and this secret rendezvous that we are having.

I guess it's killing me slowly.

Seth looked at me perhaps anticipating my answer.

"I came here like five minutes ago. So I saw all of you entering. You all seem to close." I said meaningfully without looking at him.

"Oh right, the two of you have been on a scandal lately, you sure it's alright for people to see you together?" Chase chuckled talking to Seth and Sallu, and I bite the inside of my cheeks as I saw Sally clasped both of her hands and looked at the ground shyly like someone who was caught red-handed.

What the f**k does that mean?

"Oh, are you two really together?" Chase looked shocked at Sally's actions.

Seth's eyes went wide open while Sally's face turned red.

I felt my body froze and my mind stopped for a minute.

My heart just feels like it stopped beating and my ears can't seem to comprehend whatever it is they were saying.

The sound of something breaking into pieces filled my ears.

Was that my heart?

I suddenly felt someone grabbed my hands and my eyes landed on Tokyo who looked at me worriedly.

"Sorry guys, our manager called and she needs Zaya," she said as she bowed while I spaced out.

I don't even know where she took me but we suddenly stopped and she looked at me worriedly.

"Zaya, stop crying, please," she said and my hands reached my face and I felt a liquid pouring in.

I am crying?

Why am I crying when I feel like I'm not feeling anything?

My body feels so numb that I'm doubting myself if I am still breathing.

"Zaya!" I looked around and saw Seth running towards me.

His eyes looked hurt after seeing how devastated I looked.

My tears fell all the more when my eyes landed on him, unable to handle the pain that I am feeling.

I looked at Tokyo and she understood because she pulled me away and soon enough, I was riding inside our van on my way home.

My eyes landed on the busy street of Seoul.

It's bright outside but I feel like my inside is being tugged to a bottomless pit of darkness.

"I guess I'm losing this game," I muttered before darkness ate my consciousness.
