It was slow progress making their way back to the clearing, the other male introduced himself as Darrin, and his pregnant wife as Lucie. The injured blonde wolf was Harvey, and his mate was named Rebecca. The two children belonged to Harvey and Rebecca, twin boys named Colin and Colne, each with the piercing green eyes of their mother, and the dark blonde hair of their father. They looked to be about six years old, and Archer’s mind automatically went to Levi and how they would be good companions for him and his sister.
Entering the clearing, Archer indicated to the abandoned hares that had fortunately not been taken by any other animal, Darrin scooping them up and carrying them as they continued through the thick trees back the way Archer had come.
