Shaun trudged through the thick mud, his hands shackled together with iron that was attached to a chain connecting him to the women from the cave. The girls stumbled woozily in their bare feet, the ankles covered in cuts and grazes from the sharp stones and twigs that littered the floor.
Each girl had been injected with wolfsbane as soon as the Green Forest Pack members had retreated, not enough to knock them out but a healthy enough dose to block their wolves and make them compliant.
