"Are you actually going?" I breathlessly ask Lucas as soon as I enter his penthouse.
I left Patrick's office in a hurry and got into my car, not stopping until I reached Lucas' place. I might have run a red light or two, but I got here in one piece. Oh, who am I kidding, I definitely ran a couple of red lights, but I was careful. I must say, I'm getting better and better at driving lately. For one, I have not even scratched my car since Patrick got it for me, and that is saying a lot, considering my previous record is only 5 days.
