Chapter 8

While walking slowly inside the mansion, both their bodies are dripping some water. Their bodies are a bit sliding and Magnus is so alert and aware of that weird feeling.

Nyx is not innocent at all and he is aware that something is wrong and indeed, it is wrong to take advantage of him. Magnus knew Nyx will give everything just to pay their bill in the hospital. He didn't even spare his mobile and the least he can do is sell his body.

No wonder Nyx easily gives in every time he will kiss him because he thought, this is the only way he can repay? Magnus regrets his action and thinks only about his lust and desire.

For Magnus, Nyx is a precious treasure he found and needs care and attention but because of his selfishness, he almost takes advantage of Nyx's weakness.

Nyx is sobbing on his shoulder while sniffing, Magnus can feel the warm tears on his skin.

"Nyx...I'm sorry..." Magnus whispered and continued to walk slowly up to his room.

Nyx is like a kid, a koala on the tree-hugging the trunk tightly, afraid that he might fall. But because it was Magnus who was supporting his bum and bareback, Nyx trusts him and is confident that the man will not let him fall.

Magnus brings Nyx to the master bedroom and walks directly to the bathtub. Nyx unclung his leg like a kid and slid his body down and just looked at Magnus in his eyes who was avoiding his gaze.

Magnus is so embarrassed about his action and doesn't know how he will face his fragile and soft secret bunny boss.

"Take a shower here, I will prepare a new towel and clothes for you. okay?" Magnus said and left the bathroom.

Nyx pouted, just nodded twice, and shower alone in the bathroom. He noticed the softness and gentle treatment of him by his employer. He is not making fun of him at all. Nyx smiles and thinks, maybe his employer remorsefully regrets his actions. If that was real, then he is forgiven.

"Sir. I'm finished! My towel please...!" Nyx shouted.

"I'm coming in..." Magnus enters the bathroom wearing a bathrobe and he fetches Nyx's body after wrapping him with the big towel and carrying him on the bed.

"Here, wear this. I will go to the bathroom and shower too, okay."

Nyx just nods and Magnus turns his back.

Nyx checks the clothes. It's not his. Every time Magnus will prepare clothes for him, he will prepare a new set of clothes. Nyx doesn't know if Magnus uses them already but he giggles thinking they are sharing the same clothes and......underwear?

Nyx wears clothes. After he finishes, he goes downstairs and cleans up the water that spilled on the floor because they were both wet when they entered the house.

Nyx thought he dried all the spilled water so he decided to stay in his room and wait for Magnus to go down to the living room. He said he will order food from the restaurant and he has a surprise for him.

Magnus is walking slowly down the stairs checking it one by one and noticing it was all dried up. He smiles as he thought, Nyx made it already.

Nyx hears the footsteps and quickly runs out of his room, he sees Magnus walking towards the couch when suddenly Magnus slides and falls on his bum on the marbled floor.

"Sir!" Nyx quickly runs and helps Magnus to get up and lift him on the couch. He rubs Magnus's bottom thinking he was hurt and Magnus arches his back.

"Aaarrgghh, Nyx..not there.." Magnus grunts in pain while holding his foot.

Magnus's ankle was sprained after he fell.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Nyx touches his ankle and presses the part where it hurts and he sees Magnus's face in pain.

Nyx quickly runs and pulls the refrigerator's drawer and takes out the tray of ice cubes. He goes inside his room and collects the bag for ice packs and fills the ice cubes inside of it. He quickly runs to Magnus in the living room and lets Magnus lean on the backrest while he is kneeling on the floor and puts the ice pack where it hurts.

When Magnus is feeling good, he lets Magnus lay his back on the couch, put a pillow on his neck, and straighten his body. Nyx places Magnus's leg up on the couch.

Nyx saw Magnus's forehead was sweating so he pulled a ply of tissue and lean closer to dry them.

Magnus is just watching Nyx's movement. He can see how worried his secret bunny boss is about him. Magnus smile as he feels Nyx sit on the couch too and place his ankle on his leg and continue to patch him with the ice pack.

"Nyx...I'm alright..thank you.." Magnus said shyly.

"Don't worry Sir, I am not mad and even if I am mad I will not let you suffer like this. You are still my employer after all." Nyx looks at him and smiles.

Magnus pouted and wanted to caress Nyx's face. Indeed, Nyx is a kind-hearted person, so selfless and

"Nyx...I am hungry now...can you call the restaurant?" Magnus asked.

"Sure Sir. What do you want to eat?"

"You....decide..." Magnus answered and just scratched the back of his neck.

Nyx slowly pulls away from his leg and places Magnus's ankle carefully and picks the landline phone. He gave it to Magnus and Nyx sat back to his position earlier. Nyx listens carefully and Magnus enumerates his orders.

Magnus ordered margarita flavor pizza, baked rigatoni with beef, spicy buffalo wings, and blueberry cheesecake in a cup. Nyx's smile shows he agrees to whatever Magnus ordered.

While waiting for the delivery, Nyx falls asleep while hands-on Magnus's ankle and Magnus also fall asleep lying on the couch.

Nyx was startled when the phone rang to inform them that the food had arrived.

Nyx slowly moves and carefully places Magnus's legs back on the couch.

Nyx prepares the food on the center table and when done, he taps Magnus's face twice to wake him up.

"Sir...it's dinner, the food is ready.." Nyx almost whispers.

"Hmmm..." Magnus slowly opens his eyes and tries to sit properly but unfortunately, his ankle is still painful.

Nyx stayed in his position and added another big pillow on his back. As he sits comfortably, Nyx places a napkin bib on his neckline to avoid dirtying his cloth if ever he spills the food. Like a kid huh, he thought.

Nyx gave him a plate with one slice of pizza and a portion of rigatoni and the two ate silently. When done, Nyx quickly finishes his kitchen work and Magnus is patiently waiting for him.

"Did you feel bored, Sir?" Nyx asked.

"No, I'm ok, just help me go back to my room, I called the doctor already, he will bring medicine and put a plaster on it and I'm okay.."

"Are you sure?"

"Mn.."

Nyx helped him go up to his bedroom, he helped him prepare his toothbrush and he waited for him while using the toilet.

When the doctor arrives, Magnus is already on the bed while Nyx stays in the servant's room. The doctor bid farewell and advised him to rest until Sunday.

Nyx is thinking hard. He knew Magnus needed him, but since that incident in the swimming pool, he doesn't know if Magnus is avoiding him. He is thankful the man is aware of his feelings.

Nyx decides to walk upstairs and check his boss if he is sleeping already. Nyx pushes the slightly open door and peeps a little bit.

Nyx's eyes widen when he sees Magnus is limping, walking to the toilet. His heart melts seeing his employer struggling by himself.

Nyx didn't knock at all and walked inside the room and caught Magnus's left arm and clung it to his shoulder. Magnus was startled but quickly composes himself when he realizes who is the person trying to help him.

"Thank you, Nyx." Magnus smiles and feels glad.

"Hold tight and walk slowly, don't put too much force on your injured foot.." Nyx said and they continue to walk to the toilet.

Nyx is yawning already when Magnus comes out of the toilet and Nyx helps him bring back to the bed.

Nyx was about to leave after making sure Magnus is in the proper position when he realized, what about in the middle of the night. Nyx turned his back and asked.

"Can I sleep with you?" Nyx's hands clasp with pursed lips waiting for Magnus's answer who were dead-panned from his question.

"A-are you sure?"

"Yes," Nyx answered excitedly.

Without a second thought, Magnus taps the bed and Nyx quickly jumps on the bed and slides his body under the duvet, and snuggle on Magnus's pillow.

"Hey, Nyx. Are you sleepy already?"

"Not really...why?"

"Wanna do something?"

Hearing Magnus's question, Nyx quickly sits up properly grabbing the duvet and hugs his knees glaring at Magnus who is smiling crazily.

"Nyx, do you think I can still manage to do badly on you with this situation?" Magnus chuckles.

"Who knows?" Nyx pouts but smiling.

"Can you go to my closet and pick up the white paper bag? Bring it here on the bed. We will do something..haha.." Magnus teases Nyx who obeyed while stomping his feet.

As he gets back to the bed holding the paper bag, Magnus speaks again.

"Open it, that's yours..." Magnus smiled.

Nyx mouth agape with wide eyes as he was really surprised.

"T-this is for me? All of it?"

"Yes, do you like it?"

"I'm not gonna lie, I missed my phone so much but do I need these?"

"Yes, those are useful when you resume studying.."

"B-But I still owe your fam-...."

"Sssshhh, Nyx..as long as you are willing to stay here, do as you please. Every day being with you is more than a million worth.." Magnus suddenly said and his ear tips turned red. He can't help but express what he truly feels.

Nyx lowers his head and suddenly smiles.

"Then how will I repay you? Can I...."Nyx stops as he thinks his idea is not good.

"Nyx...just don't leave me soon." Magnus grabs Nyx's hand and presses his palm.

Nyx looks at him intently trying to read and understand if he is sincere and true to his words.

Nyx nods and looks at his sprained ankle.

"Alright then, teach me how to use this."

Nyx opens the box of the latest iPhone model and Magnus helps him register his e-mail address and contact number.

"Nyx, save my number. Expect me to call you every day and even send a message..."

"No problem with me. Here, type your number."

Magnus types his number and gives it back to Nyx.

Nyx keeps thinking about what name he will put to his employer. He flicks his finger and type and saves it and he smiles.

"There, so cute," Nyx mumbled, making Magnus curious.

"What did you write?"

"Secret....how about me what did you write?"

"I won't tell unless you tell yours."

Nyx yawns and places the phone on the bed. He just puts down the paper bag on the floor and prepares himself to sleep.

"Goodnight Nyx."

"Thank you. Good night Sir!" Nyx covers his mouth as he hears Magnus chuckles after he hiccups.

"Good night Baby," Magnus replied and slowly slid on the bed and turned his back to sleep.
