Chapter 4

Nyx quickly runs down to his room as he can't stand the stare of his new employer on his naked body. He keeps cursing and blaming himself. It is in the first place who is out in his room half-naked. What he will do, he wants to open all the aircon in the house but he is afraid his employer is strict. Nyx halted as he remembered something.

What is his name?

Nyx taps his forehead and quickly wears the jersey. He brushes his damp hair and walks out again from his room. He saw the Mapo tofu and the chow mein untouched.

He walks upstairs and knocks on his employer's room.

"Sir, si-?"

"What?"

"Sir, I just want to ask if you will continue to eat or I will keep it?"

"I will go down and continue to eat. Please prepare it for me after I finish taking shower." Magnus answered impassively.

"Ok, sir. Thank you." Nyx bows his head, turning his back and steps forward.

Nyx is waiting for the door to close but he hears no sound. He is so curious that he stops walking and quickly turns his head. He caught his employer watching him and because of shock, he slams the door.

Nyx was startled by the banging sound of the door. He runs down as fast as he can. When he reached his room, he quickly held his chest trying to normalize his breathing.

While Magnus at the back of the door is trying to calm himself and breathing heavily, he can't forget Nyx's body and his sexy look.

What a torture.

Magnus walks to his bed and lays on his back. He needs to fire his helper as soon as possible. He needs to find a way. He grinned evilly when he remembered his two identical polo shirts, one burned from ironing and the other one is perfectly fine.

Magnus always uses this trick and it's effective. He will ask the helper to iron that polo and when it's time to fire the helper, he will show the burnt one.

Magnus nods and quickly showers. He goes down to the living room and opens the TV. Nyx heard the sound of the TV and quickly went to the dining table and reheated the food in the kitchen. When ready, he approached his employer.

"Good evening sir, your dinner is ready."

Because Nyx is tired and it's already 9 in the evening, he yawns after talking.

Gosh, even the way he yawns he is still attractive, what the hell?

"Mn," Magnus responds and closes the TV, and stands up.

With respect, Nyx let his employer walk ahead and he followed.

Because Nyx is sleepy and seems his energy has drained, he accidentally trips his foot and in a split second, his body is topping the back of his employer on the carpeted floor. Magnus growled in pain and his face almost hit the floor. He lifts his elbow trying to get up.

"What the?! Stand up! Hey! Move away!" Magnus said with an angry tone. His loud cold voice echoed in the living room.

To his shock, Magnus realized. Nyx is not moving at all because he is unconscious.

Holy s**t!

Magnus tried his best to twist his body and the heavy unconscious body is now lying on the carpet. He grabs his hair and panics.

He looks at Nyx's angelic face and his heart suddenly melts. He slowly positions his body and picks up Nyx in a bridal style and lays him on the huge couch.

Jeeez, how can you be so fragile?

Magnus never enters the servant's quarter and he doesn't like either. He knows Nyx will feel cold or get sick if he does not cover him. He decided to go back into his room and pull him on the comforter and quickly run down and cover Nyx's body and tuck him well on the couch making sure he will not fall if he stirs in his sleep or changes his position. He collects the throw pillow and places them on the floor. For safety reasons just in case Nyx falls.

Magnus is hungry so he proceeds to the dining table. But to his surprise, he sees a sticky note.

Goodnight sir. Please help me place the dirty bowls and plates in the sink after you eat. I am very sorry but the grim reaper is taking my soul already to the bed.

Magnus pulls the sticky note and smiles.

In my bed, my foot. Do I look like a bed?

Magnus eats and as a good employer, he obeyed his helper.

What the hell am I doing now?

Magnus closes all the lights in the kitchen and dining room. As he passed the living room, he saw Nyx sleeping peacefully, with his mouth a bit open showing his bunny teeth.

Oh my god, Magnus. Control, control...

He continues to step slowly avoiding creating noise. When he is about to step on the stair, he glances once more at the couch and his heart skips beating for seconds. Magnus stops and looks at Nyx. He clenches his fist and grits his teeth trying to restrain his urge but finally, he gives up.

Magnus walks back and stands in front of the couch, he leans closer and stares closely at Nyx's face. Magnus almost collapses as he holds his breath when Nyx changes his position.

When he feels Nyx is not awake, he leans closer again and the feeling he is controlling finally loses. Magnus found his lips touching the corner of Nyx's lips.

Magnus's eyes widened. He pulls back and straightens his body and quickly leaves. Magnus's heart is pounding hard as he can't explain what is going on with him. He keeps cursing himself and closes the door slowly. He runs to his bed and slams his body.

When his heart beats normally, he touches his lips with his fingertips while staring blankly at the ceiling. He licks his lips subconsciously and bit his lower lips.

Nyx, we just met 4 hours ago and you turned my world upside down already. I am doomed.

Magnus shrugs his thoughts. He heaves a sigh and finally, he is decided. He will continue his plan and kick out the helper. He has so many ways and reasons to fire him.

Magnus dialed his mom.

"Son, what made you call?"

"Mom, why didn't you tell me that a helper is a man."

"Does that make a difference? If she is a woman, you will still fire her. Now, are you still going to fire him?"

"I will fire him or he will resign by himself."

"Magnus, son. You cannot do that anymore."

"Why?"

"He owes 5 million pesos in my hospital. He is paying his debt, Magnus."

"What?"

"Yes son, so please, give him the chance to repay his debt. I don't want him to suffer. If I were to decide, I am not after his p*****t. It is him who insists on working. And besides, he wants to continue his studies. Son, are you going to take away his dream?" Mrs. Mateo said while her heart was in pain.

The truth is, Mrs. Mateo saw Nyx how he struggled for many years for his father. She knows Nyx wanted to live without guilt, that's why he approached her.

With a side purpose, Mrs. Mateo wants to break her son's protective shield and come out of the closet.

Magnus is twenty-five years old already. He has never been kissed and never been touched but his mind was damaged by the man sleeping peacefully on the couch.

Magnus freshens up as soon as he wakes up. He can smell the delicious breakfast and he is excited to eat.

Hmmm, I wonder what he is wearing. I mean, what did he prepare for breakfast?

Magnus was almost choked by his perverted thoughts.

Damn!

Magnus sprays some cologne, his favorite scent.

Wait, did he smell me yesterday? Ahh, why do I bother thinking about those things? Magnus oh Magnus. Tsk!

As he walks to the dining room, he is hoping to see Nyx in the kitchen cooking while half-naked but to his dismay, the man is not there. He checked the breakfast on the table and saw the freshly brewed coffee.

As he pulls and twists the cup of coffee, a sticky note drops and he picks it on the table.

Good morning sir, thank you for your tenderness last night.

Magnus spits the coffee he just sips.

Fuck! Can he use a different word other than tenderness?

Magnus cursed himself once more. His helper is just thanking him after he placed him on a soft quilt when he slept on the couch.

Magnus wiped the spilled coffee and sit properly and started to eat the bacon and egg rolls. He can't believe that he finished all the 6 pcs bacon and 4 egg rolls. He wonders if Nyx eats already.

Magnus is so curious about what Nyx is up to, though he already knows that Nyx will clean the garden and the pool.

It's early in the morning but Nyx's body is sweating so much. He is removing the weeds and trimming the plants.

Nyx thought his boss had left already so he decided to remove his shirt.

Magnus just finished eating breakfast and decided to check Nyx. As soon as he exits the backdoor, his eyes widened in surprise when he saw Nyx start to lift the hem of his shirt.

Magnus steps back and hides at the back of the door, peeping his helper slowly lifting his shirt. It's like slow motion in his sight while Nyx is stripping naked. His white cream skin, the hairy belly, the slender waist, and those lip-biting n*****s. He looks at Nyx's face, his eyes are closed with his mouth slightly open showing his bunny teeth.

Wow, what a hot morning to a lovely garden view. Magnus thought.

Magnus slowly pulls back the door and closes it avoiding making noise but too late. The helper saw him already and put back his clothes.

"Hi sir, do you like the coffee I made for you? Is it good?"

"Ahh yes, yes, and the breakfast is delicious, you are delicious! I mean you cook delicious." Magnus's words are shuffling from tense.

"Thank you, sir, I will make you feel better with my skill." Nyx bends his body and bows his head.

"Haaa?!" Magnus feels confused and becomes dirty-minded.

"My cooking skill sir, as you eat the food I serve for you, you will feel better and ask for more.." Nyx explained.

Magnus releases a deep sigh and looks at him intently. Indeed, it was just him who was thinking boldly. Magnus was about to walk in but he remembered something.

"Anyway, don't finish that, take a shower, and follow me inside."

"Yes, sir." Nyx removes the gloves from his hand and obeys what his boss told him.

After taking shower, he wears the cloth he just grabs in his luggage then comes out of his room.

He is wearing simple clothes but Magnus was amazed at how attractive his helper is. Magnus looks at him from head to toe.

"Sir, where are we going?"

"We will go to university."

"Oh. Are you a teacher sir?" Nyx innocently asked as he doesn't know his employer's personal information.

"I will enroll you..."

"Me? Really?" Nyx is really happy and thankful that Mrs. Mateo kept her promise.

"Sir, thank you in advance."

"You're welcome. Let's go!"

As they walk to the garage, Nyx just noticed his employer has 5 sports cars and a motorbike.

Magnus opens the car and starts the engine and stands up again. Nyx was about to pull the door of the backseat but Magnus stopped him.

"Sit on the front seat." Magnus opens the door for his helper and Nyx feels shy but slowly walks and gets in.

As he gets in, he accidentally bumps his head to the roof of the car.

"Ouch!" Nyx stops and touches the part where it hurts and his face shows a painful reaction.

Magnus subconsciously rubs his head and speaks.

"Be careful." Magnus didn't realize that his hand was touching Nyx's hand on his head. Their hands rub Nyx's hand in unison and Magnus feels like the electricity ignites and runs to his body.

Nyx lifts his head and looks at his employer. He noticed his employer's face becoming red.

"I'm okay now sir, my bad."

He didn't move at all after sitting, forgetting to put on the seatbelt and avoid looking at Magnus. Magnus leans closer, bending his body and their faces are inches apart. He pulls the strap of the seatbelt and flattens it on Nyx's chest and buckles it.

Because of the twisted strap, Magnus fixes it and he needs to do it again. Nyx just followed and stared at his employer's face movement and tried his best not to clash their faces.

When done, Magnus drives out from the mansion and focuses on the road. But even though he wanted to focus, he couldn't help himself but to glance at the beautiful creature beside him and just pop his cheek and heave a sigh.

Why is he pretty?

Magnus brought him to the nearest University and registered him. The Dean said he can start next week. Magnus checks his class schedule and makes sure it is comfortable and manageable to his helper's time.

"Do you want to request your schedule?" Magnus asked.

"Ha? Is that even possible?"

"Mn."

"Is that so? But I need to follow the rules here." Nyx pouted cutely. He thinks of the works in the mansion too.

"I'm the ruler. And I can break rules for you." Magnus said impassively.

"What do you mean sir?"

"Later, fix your schedule in the house and give it to me. If there are changes, I can change it for you..."

Nyx just nods and is amazed without realizing that his employer is the son of the private university.

"Yes sir, thank you, sir." Nyx smiled again and Magnus's heart melted like hot mozzarella cheese as their eyes met.

The two were just starting when Nyx's stomach growled and Magnus heard it.

"Anyway, we are done here, did you eat already?" Magnus suddenly remembers he finished all the breakfast at the dining table.

"Yes sir, after I cooked."

"Let's go." Magnus didn't give him a chance to speak at all. He grabs Nyx's hand and walks directly to the car.

Magnus fixes the seatbelt for him again and runs to the driver's seat and leaves the university.

As they entered the J.CO Donuts and Coffee Shop, Magnus asked him what he likes.

Because Nyx is not familiar with the flavors, he just bit his lower lips and Magnus caught him.

Magnus pinpoints the Alcapone flavor donuts.

"That flavor is good, want to try it?"

Nyx just nods like a kid and smiles.

Magnus ordered four pieces to take away and two cups of coffee.

"Here, have this on your tea time. Hold it and I will carry the coffee." Magnus gave him the box of donuts.

While driving the car, Magnus is sipping coffee. Nyx is feeling shy so he didn't touch his own coffee.

"Nyx, this morning, you brewed the coffee perfectly. From tomorrow, can you make some for me, I will bring it to the office and your food."

"Really? Thank you, sir. I will make a lot, sir." Nyx excitedly responded.

Magnus drives home, Nyx, it's just eleven past half in the morning. Magnus bid farewell and told Nyx to prepare dinner early.

Nyx bows his head and gets inside the mansion happily. Aside from going to university next week, his employer likes his cooking and he can see that they will become a good employer-employee relationship.

While driving, Magnus is smiling like stupid. He doesn't understand why he is really happy. He looks at the passenger seat.

Oh gosh Nyx, no one ever sits there. It was only you.

Magnus picks his phone when it rings.

"Chris, can you drop by my skateboard to the mansion later around 8 in the evening. Okay, bye."

Magnus wanted to go skateboarding this weekend and Chris tried his new skateboard. At six in the evening, Magnus has arrived. As he enters, he smells the good aroma of the delicious food.

He drops his suitcase to the couch and goes directly to the dining room like he is going to surprise his wife.

"Nyx, what did you cook for me?"

Magnus asked excitedly.

"Spare rib lotus root soup, pork belly with dried mushroom, fried egg with shrimp and stir-fried vegetables."

"Great, I am hungry now. Can I eat my dinner?" Magnus asked.

"Yes sir, please wash your hands first and take your seat, sir," Nyx said, like doing the service in the restaurant.

Nyx places all the food on the table and is about to leave but Magnus stops him.

"Can you please join me?" Magnus said like a fluffy puppy.

"Ha? But sir...."

"Take a seat."

Nyx pulls the chair and eats beside Magnus. He picks the extra bowl and eats silently. After they finish, Magnus sits in the living room while Nyx cleans up the dining table and puts the utensils in the dishwasher. After he finishes, like Magnus's instructions, he goes upstairs and prepares his room and the bathtub.

"Sir, your room is ready."

"Thank you. By the way, someone will come, please let him in." Magnus closes the TV and walks upstairs while Nyx proceeds to his room and plans to shower too. After taking shower, Nyx dries his hair and suddenly he hears a doorbell.

Nyx opened the door for him and the visitors were shocked.

"Oh, Magnus is hiding a treasure here." the first guy said.

"Woah, such a beautiful man." Chris blurted while holding the skateboard.

"Can you shut up and just get in?"

"Hi, I am Romer, the first guy is Chris, the second, Brando, and the third one is Justin."

Nyx is just standing without blinking.

"By the way, we are Magnus's friends," Chris said.

"Don't worry, we are good boys. Hahaha." Justin slap's Brando's shoulder.

Nyx is speechless. Glad he is wearing trousers and T-shirts or else a lot of eyes are feasting on him. Nyx was about to close the door but he suddenly hears Chris whistling. A dog entered and as soon as he saw Nyx, it barked.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!” Nyx runs for his life and to his confusing feeling and fear, he runs upstairs meeting Magnus halfway and ignoring him. He gets into Magnus's room and slams the door. He hops on his bed and hides under the duvet while crying, shivering in fear.

Magnus followed him. He slowly opens the door and walks to his bed and finds Nyx hugging his knees covered with the duvet, crying silently.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Magnus asked.

"D-dog...d-dog..." Nyx said in a shaking voice.

Magnus held his hand and it was cold as ice. Nyx is bead sweating and his eyes are wet from tears while sniffing.

Magnus goes to the bathroom and brings a wet towel and wipes Nyx's face. Magnus doesn't understand but he slowly pulls Nyx's head to his chest and rubs his back.

Nyx sobs as he feels pity for himself and after a few minutes, Nyx falls asleep on Magnus's chest with curled up knees.

Magnus places his body on the bed carefully and lays Nyx's body comfortably. He pulled the duvet and tucked him carefully. He looked at Nyx's face and wiped the dried tears under his eyes.

Magnus leans closer and kisses Nyx on his forehead and his lips.

Magnus put back the wet towel in the bathroom and left the room.

As he gets down, the four are busy playing VR games.

Magnus closes the screen that made them stop.

"Oh come on, Magnus."

"Chris, your dog is banned here. I'm sorry." Magnus announced.

"What?" Chris was puzzled.

"Hey, you have a live-in partner now, why didn't you tell us?" Justin asked.

"He is my new helper, mom hired him yesterday."

"Ohohoho, helper in your face Magnus. He is sleeping in your room, '' Justin added.

"Shut up. Because of your dog. He panics and runs upstairs." Magnus pouted.

"Don't worry, just don't forget us on your wedding day, Magnus, or I will bring Fairy's family here,'' Chris said crazily.

When his friends bid farewell. Magnus quickly closes the door and the lights and runs upstairs. He gets into his room and finds Nyx sleeping peacefully in his bed.

Magnus smiles. It's already ten past nine in the evening. He slowly slid himself under the duvet and lay his body carefully to avoid Nyx from waking up.

Magnus feels weird as he never had someone sleep on the bed. He tilts his head and looks at Nyx's innocent face until he falls asleep.

Nyx's position changes from time to time and keeps moving as he keeps dreaming of a dog that made Magnus wake up in the middle of the night.

Magnus has no idea what is going on with Nyx. He assumed he was having a bad dream or nightmare maybe.

He pulls Nyx's body closer, facing him. He rubs his back until Nyx sleeps peacefully again. Magnus gave him a peck on his forehead and slept with a sweet smile on his lips.
