After a little research, Trina and Aisha discovered that the pack had been in existence for fifteen years. The pack was considered novel and upcoming. Remarkably, the Safe Haven pack was endorsed by the Elder Council. They would occasionally send wolves to the Safe Haven pack.
Three months into their stay in the pack, the council sent a seven-year-old orphan, Alpha female named Vera. Her pack had been massacred and she was the only remaining member. She had managed to make it to an estranged Aunt’s pack. However, fearful of keeping her, they contacted the Council for assistance. She quickly became Aisha’s shadow.
