For a first day, I’ve really been working my ass off. My present supervisor is a stuck up lady in her late forties that wears Red Lipstick as bright as Marilyn Monroe’s (No disrespect to that icon).
She’s a senior associate attorney and she insists that I study a couple of cases and write a report and observations on them. It makes me mad because I’ve been doing that since before I graduated law school. But I understand that I have to do this so she can be sure I deserve my job and I’m qualified for it- most especially when everyone thinks I’m getting railed by our managing CEO. Then, I can start working on cases like the rest of my colleagues.
