Bond?

Two hours went by but there was still no change in his system at all.I walked up to Olga and demanded the results that I sent to the lab.Nothing changed at all... only for a few hours, his body was able to heal itself but now it’s on death bed again.I needed a new plan. What is the only thing that is going to save this man’s life? I got myself a strong coffee then pulled my journal out. The bond was supposed to work but it didn’t?Jakes came in with a worried face.

“He is not getting better is he?” he asked quite sadly.

“No,he is not! I was so sure that he and Ryan had a bond but it looks like it was all a bluff!” 

For a minute I closed my eyes. I wished that I’ve seen my death in front of me but instead I recall a moment that me and Aden had earlier.

“Where is Aden?”I stood up then walked closer to him.

“I don’t know after he left the clinic he went for a run…”

“Well find him!!! he is the bond!” I yelled

“How sure are you about this?”

“Pretty f*****g much!” my words were nearly finished when I heard the nurses calling me from the hallway. I left him there hoping to find the alpha which I desperately needed.After an hour he came back saying that he couldn’t find him at all.I saw how his eyes flickered.

That is the part that my father used to teach me... that a wolf’s eyes only flicker when a lie is told.I turned to the nurses and tossed them some straps.

“Strap him up in less than 20 minutes he is going to wake up with full force. I will be back!”

“Full force?” Angela asked me with a scared tone.I turned around then looked at her all I could say at that moment was: “His wolf is waking up. Whatever you do don’t go near him understand!”

“It’s a bad idea Niqolette,he is going to kill you!”Jakes yelled from behind.

“Well either way one of us is going to die today and I’m guaranteeing you that it is not going to be that man on that bed!”I said then fleed out the door.I remember fondly where his mistress room was, not far from his.When I came down the hallway I could at least not hear a thing but I could feel that he was near.The rooms were luckily sound proof so what stays inside stays inside! I knocked on the door three times then the door flew open, there she was standing with red lingerie on!She looked at me from head to toe,at that moment I felt like a cheap skate, I never felt the humiliation to such an extent before but I had to get passed this devil to get too the cure.

“My, my !!! look at what the cat dragged in!”

“Where’s Aden?”I asked with a deep demanding voice.

“Why are you looking for him darling you know that it’s bonding time after five right?”

“Oh wow!Guess that I just don’t give a s**t about your bonding time!Where is Aden!!! it is urgent or are you going to explain why one of his men died?”

“Don’t try me little wolf!”the moment she said that I took a step forward but with my luck Aden came to the door.He had no shirt on only jeans.His muscles were beautiful, I felt how my wolf got aroused with his but I had to get my mind straight.

“Thanks babe you can go to bed now!”when he said that it felt numb, it felt like a punch to my gut.Her eyes  fired up for him.My mate is in love with the mistress when it should have been me!I cleared my throat to get his attention.

“I need your blood, please! in less than 10 minutes he is going to wake up and I’m not sure if he will remember anything or anyone!”

“What about Ryan’s blood?” he asked.

“That only controlled him for a while.You turned him so it means that your bond is more important to him than to any other wolf on this property!Please after this you are more than welcome to kill me!”

“Well in that case let’s note waste a single minute!”he closed the door then came out with a t shirt and shoes on.Man even in that shirt he is still killing me!I started to walk then he took my hand.His hands felt warm and comfy. A shock of sparks went through my body.When our eyes met he had a smirk on his face.

“You said 10 minutes sweetheart!”

“Yes so can we please go?” I asked patiently

“Get on my back!”

“Are you insane Aden?”

“I’ve got the speed now let’s go!” he said.

He took my hands then threw me on his back with the speed of light, I was standing in the clinic with my hair all over my face. I stood there with total surprise about this episode that just happened. When I came back down to earth Olga was standing by the door.

Olga was pissed at me she made that very clear since that day in the office. Niqolette checked the file once again but her eyes turned purple for one second.Something is wrong I could see it from afar.

She walked up to Olga then before she was able to utter a word, Olga spoke her mind,

“You can do it yourself, I’m not touching that beast Niqolette!” then she gave me a death stare.At that moment the wolf woke up.She whispered in Olga’s ear that they must leave and to not let anyone in.She made it clear under no circumstances! damn she was hot when she gave out orders!She came up to me then explained the process but that was the least of my problems now. Her body was aroused by me,my mate wanted me regarding everything that I’ve done to her.My eyes saw something behind her, the wolf has woken up and by the looks of it the straps were not going to hold him at all.                                                          She was almost done when one of the straps broke.

“Remind me to get chains for the beds after today please!”

“Oh s**t!I have to mix this with herbs to speed up the process!”

“Well you better start my dear since the angry wolf here just woke up!” his eyes were black like pure darkness. He is poisoned that is one of the signs that I could see.I told Niqolette to get a move on with this cause the other strap is not going to hold him.When she moved I saw how the wolf’s eyes moved with her.He is going to kill her if he gets loose!

“s**t!”was all that came out when the last strap broke.I saw how she was about to be killed in front of me, 'brutally' would have been his best choice but not today!He got up to grab her but before he could even do that I pinned him up against the wall with red eyes I glared at him.Whenever he tried to move I gave him a growl so that he can settle down.

“The only one who gets to kill her is me do you understand bud!”
