Chapter 4.

Alison POV He looked at me and for a moment I saw him tremble. I wanted to say more, but the older i***t appeared in the room and I looked at him the same way… Only feeling anger and pain. "What are you doing here, Bastian?” The man of last night asked the one that tied me and was… Also an i***t. "I wanted to talk to her” Bastian said immediately. "Go away.” "Yes.” Bastian accepts, without the necessity of other orders from his “brother”. The boy left the room without another word, and without looking at me even though I was chasing him with my most lethal gaze. "Leave him alone, he’s just a kid” The man of the last time told me, noticing the way I was looking at his brother. I looked at the "i***t” and answered: "I want the same thing, leave me alone, and let me get out of this damn place”. "I'm sorry but you know you can't leave, now sit dow.” "No" I looked at him and took in my hands the first thing I found, and that was a knife Bastian had brought for breakfast. "Put that down.” "Give me a reason not to kill you" I ask approaching him: "Just give me a reason not to kill your brother". Eiden opened his eyes a little wider, but it was a second before he regained his rigid posture and looked at me in the cruelest way he had. "Because I'd kill you first.” The man said. "Try it.” I raised the knife against him, but it was worse my pain and I fell to my knees due to the puncture in my abdomen. "You fool.” He complained. I heard him laugh and cursed myself for looking so weak in front of him, so I looked up and tried to throw the knife at him, but Eiden took it out of my hands and smiled. "Next time, make sure you're healthy" He sentenced and took me in his arms. I kept pounding his chest as he carried me to the bed, but that only caused me to drop down when I got there, making my mouth grimace at the pain shooting through my body. I looked down at the hand he had right on my abdomen and watched in horror as the blood began to gush even more, but Eiden seemed composed despite seeing that I was bleeding out because of him and that only made my courage grow. "Why are you laughing? This is your fault!” I complain on a scream. "You wanted to take yourself away like this.” He answered. He said as if it was nothing and lifting my blouse, I slapped his hands to make him stop but he took both of them squeezing them tightly while looking at my wound. "You took out two stitches.” He said, just looking at my wound. He looked at me and raised an eyebrow: "Will you stay still or do I make you do it?” "I'd rather you tie me up to do something for you than my will.” He smiled sideways and tied my hands again only this time he tied them together with my mouth. "You really do make things easier for me.” Eiden whispered, looking at me with a smile. He laughed and pulled out a white box from the side table. From it, he pulled out a needle and even a thread, and when I watched that, I wanted to run away, but Eiden hit me in the head with a blow that stunned me enough to keep me still for a few seconds. "Take it as a personal gift, it's a natural anesthetic.” I heard him say as I tried to open my eyes, but I just couldn't quite do it as some tears prevented me from doing so. Damn, how it had hurt me and it had barely been a slight blow from this man? Just a simple zap. Now I can understand he is a very strong man… I felt his icy hands on my abdomen and I tensed up as my skin was warm, but he didn't seem to give a damn about that because he fearlessly stuck the needle into me. I tried to scream, knowing what he was going to do, and fearing the pain that was going to cause me. "He would have done it better than me, Bastian, he's more careful than me" He looked at me as he closed the stitch: "But you treated him like s**t, and now it was your turn to have me do it.” I glared at him as I clenched my hands into fists. "How infuriating you are" He grimaced "I don't understand how Bastian could put up with you for more than a second.” Well, he had earned it. I raised one of my legs and kneed him in the back of the head, which only made him move a little. This man looked like stone, he was crazy, and even I had been hurt more by the blow I had given him. "I suggest you don't do that again.” He told me with a cold voice. He smiled and grabbed my leg, squeezing my thigh until I felt a kind of cramp that made me scream. "Hold still already" He spat and continued to accommodate my stitches without caring that I was dying of pain. I turned my face until I no longer saw him and let my legs rest as I felt him heal me, somehow, from all the damage he and his friends had done to me. "Don't move anymore, it will stop hurting in a second" He ordered me, and surrendered by the pain, I didn't move. I didn't move, I didn't want to agree with him about anything, I had enough to do with the accident without creating more pain with this man. That's all he did. He caused pain and tragedy. I hate you. I kept repeating myself over and over while I looked away letting the tears come silently. "That's it.” I heard him tell me, so I just turned around to turn my back to him, but he didn't seem to mind at all as he made me look at him again when he abruptly turned me around. "Stop crying, you're pathetic.” I wanted to kill him, but I told myself it was better to do nothing and just let him do his will. He untied my hands and the gag disappeared, he set them aside and I turned again as I covered myself with the blankets so I wouldn't see him anymore. "Do you feel better?” He asked me, trying to sound kind. I didn't answer. "You know what? Do yourself a favor and at least try to be nicer to those who help you" I heard him snort: "Spoiled human girl.” "Go away.” Is the only thing I could answer. "This is my house.” "Leave me" I whispered as my voice cracked and I hid my face in my pillow. He didn't answer anymore and I heard the door slam causing me to just make myself small on the bed and burst out crying at the top of my lungs. I was broken and nothing that was happening was close to being the healthiest thing for me, I didn't understand anything, I just wanted to die. I was alone. Without my brother Jake, I was dead and alone in this world. There was no more. No one cared, let alone anyone who could come to my rescue, no one, there was only Jake. And he vanished.
