Chapter Three ~ Happy 25th Anniversary, My Love!

            Last night, when we arrived in Montego Bay, Jamaica, I woke Crystal up just before landing so she could get in her seat and put her seat belt on. I asked Wyatt to not announce the destination upon landing and he didn’t respectfully. I watched my wife’s eyes light up like Christmas when the concierge at the private airstrip said Welcome to Montego Bay Jamaica, and in that very moment nothing else mattered.

            Crystal looked back at me with surprise and love in her eyes as she walked over to me smiling and shaking her head at me.

            “You said it was NOT a destination on my top ten must-go list! Do you even know my top ten must-go list? JAMAICA IS NUMBER THREE, CAELAN!” She yelled squealing as she hit my chest and jumped up in my arms.

            “Yeah, I know all your list gorgeous, but nothing beats this reaction. I love you baby!” I said as I kissed her passionately.

            After a few minutes of kissing my very happy and very surprised wife I called for our car. The black sedan SUV with VIP1 on the license plate pulled up a few minutes later and a tall dark Jamaican man stepped out of the vehicle.

            “Mr. & Mrs. Parks?” He asked looking at me.

            “Yes, I’m Caelan and this is my wife, Crystal.” I said to him and put my hand out to shake his hand.

            “I’m Jahir, I’ll be your driver during the duration of your stay. I see there was a change to your itinerary about an hour ago. I just need to confirm this change was made by you.” The driver said and handed me the tablet.

            “Yes, our trip is being shortened because of a family emergency but I will still pay for the original duration.” I said hoping he doesn’t mention my original plans of staying longer.

            “It is not necessary for you to pay the original duration; I just need your signature that your trip dates have changed. Your bill has already been paid in full by my boss. If we could get inside, I can speak more freely.” Jahir said quietly then opened the door for Crystal and I could slide inside the SUV then he closed the door and placed our luggage in the trunk before climbing into the driver seat.

            “Jahir, who is your boss and what does he know about me to pay my expense in full?” I asked him with authority in my tone.

            “I’m sorry, I needed to get you inside the car before disclosure, Alpha.” Jahir said looking through the rear-view mirror and I raised an eyebrow at him.

            “How do you know that?” I asked him in a demanding tone.

            “I could smell it in both of your scents, your Luna is of Alpha blood also. But enough of the riddle. I am Jahir Ajobia of the Golden Moon Pack. My Alpha is Jameson Blackstone Jr.” He said with confidence.

            “Alpha Jameson Blackstone, who attended Princeton University, over sixty years ago.” I asked with a raised eyebrow, and he chuckled then shook his head.

            “No, Alpha Jameson Blackstone Jr, the Alpha you speak of son. But yes, the same family. I understand that your father and Alpha JB senior were partners in crime back then and because of that my Alpha would like to extend an invitation for you and your wife to have dinner with him and our Luna before you return to the states. He has also told me that you two are to be given the VIP treatment throughout your duration.” Jahir said with a smile, and I smiled back.

            “Let Alpha Jameson Blackstone Jr know that we can meet for dinner tomorrow, but we have to get back to a family emergency the day after.” I said respectfully and smiled at Jahir.

            “When were we originally scheduled to go home, love?” Crystal asked looking at me confused.

            “Thursday morning, it was going to be a surprise when we got here.” I said with a sigh.

            “I think I would have loved that surprise. I’m sorry my Alpha, but maybe we can come back one day.” She said sadly and I could see Jahir confused expression.

            “Whenever you want gorgeous, but let’s get through this family emergency first.” I said to her as Jahir pulled off from the private airstrip and began to drive us to our resort.

            We were staying at the All-Inclusive Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa. It took us forty-five minutes to reach our destination and to say the place is beautiful would be more than an understatement. The resort was massive and had everything we needed on the grounds. It sits right on the Caribbean Sea and has its own private white sand beach. It has its own water park and golf course. There is an onsite bar and elegant fine dining restaurant along with evening buffets with live entertainment and a variety of gourmet dining options. Our room was an ocean front honeymoon suite with an extended balcony and the perfect view. It was Amazing!

            “You really have outdone yourself this time, my Alpha.” Crystal said with a huge smile as she walked out onto the balcony of our suite, and I followed her out to see the view.

            “I would do anything to see that smile on your face. I hate our trip is going to be cut short, but I promise you as soon as things are figured out, I will bring you back. I love you so much.” I said to her as I wrapped my arms around her body and placed my chin on her shoulder looking out at the moonlight over the ocean.

            “We should probably let the kids know we made it and where we are.” She said pulling out her phone to facetime Christopher.

            “Hey mom, I see you guys made it to Jamaica safely.” Christopher said as soon as he answered her call.

            “Yes, ho… how did you know we were in Jamaica?” She asked surprised that he knew.

            “Dad, told me but his reasoning for keeping it a secret made sense to me, so I kept it a secret.” He said and I positioned myself in the view of the phone so he could see me.

            “Hey buddy, thank you.” I said to him with a smile.

            “Hey dad, no problem. I love that you still try to romance mom and keep her happy. Let me get my siblings, it’s almost bedtime for them here.” Christopher said and I smiled.

            A few seconds later, all five of our children were hovered around Christopher’s phone.

            “Mom, why are you outside? Is it not cold where you are?” Angel asked with a smile.

            “Well baby, dad and I are in Jamaica and the weather here is more tropical and warmer. It is 9:30 here and the temperature is probably 90 degrees out here.” Crystal said to her with a smile.

            “Dad, you took mom to Jamaica? That’s cool. It’s like number three on her top ten list.” Amir said excitedly and it made my heart glad to see how much my girls loved their mom.

            “Where are your brothers?” I asked looking at the two girls on the screen.

            “We’re here dad. Are you two having fun yet?” Cyir asked as he turned the phone to show him and Christian on the screen.

            “Actually, we just landed about an hour ago. I wanted to say goodnight and let you guys know we made it before you guys were all in bed.” Crystal said smiling at them.

            “Yeah, we are going to order room service before bed and get up tomorrow to see the island.” I told him and he smiled.

            “Well, I guess we better let you guys get dinner and these four need to get dinner and ready for bed also. I’ll check in if I need to tomorrow. We love you guys. Oh, and mom, don’t worry we will be fine, you just enjoy your vacation.” Christopher said with a smirk after grabbing his phone from Cyir.

            “We love you guys.” The other four said almost in unison.

            “We love you all too.” Crystal said blowing a kiss into the phone.

            “Alright, behave yourselves, we will see you guys in a couple days and when we get home there is something we need to discuss as a family, okay?” I said to Christopher knowing the others were still standing around.

            “Okay dad and we will all behave ourselves, right you guys?” Christopher said

            “Yes.” The other four said in unison. I smiled at my son proudly and ended the call.

            As soon as I handed Crystal her phone, she wrapped her arms around my neck and pressed her lips to mines. Once the attendant was done setting up our dinner and left, we walked out onto the balcony and took our seats. We ate our dinner and was starting on dessert before Crystal said a word.

            “I think we should make Morocco a family trip. I also want to see if I can delay the trip until the young twins start spring break in a week. I will talk with Mia about it tomorrow. Maybe she and Uncle Kurt could go as scheduled on Tuesday, that way she can get as much time as possible with her father. We can even offer to bring their children with us since we will be taking our private jet.” She said with pleading eyes.

            “I think that’s a great idea, I don’t think the King Duke has met the twins yet and they should see him again before anything happens. We will give them a call in the morning. I told Kurt I would call him anyway.” I said smiling at her and her eyes smiled back.

            I loved this woman with all of me and I would do anything to make her happy.
