The Start of Our Wedding Night

1052 Words
Since we are now married, it was only natural that I would be moving in to live with Anthony at his family estate. I recalled the large white mansion with a large French-style garden out front from my numerous visits there during childhood after the engagement between Anthony and my sister had been decided. Although the mansion that belonged to my family was already overly large, the Vulkan family estate where Anthony lived was much larger. I smiled a little to myself when I thought of the many encounters that we shared when we were younger whenever I had the chance to visit his home. After waiting for too long, Anthony and I were finally on our way back to what would be my new home. After leaving my mother and making my way back to Anthony’s side, he welcomed me back warmly before leading me to a large black limousine that would take us back to his place. “I still can’t believe that father invited that many people to our wedding,” Anthony commented with a hint of complaint before he turned to smile at me. “I guess too many people turned up. I honestly don’t know most of them,” I replied in agreement. “I hope you’re not too tired and I also hope that you managed to enjoy some parts of the wedding, if not all of it,” he said caringly as he took my hand into his. “Don’t worry about me. I’m not tired and…I really did enjoy our wedding…a lot more than I expected,” I replied while suddenly feeling shy. Now that we were free to leave the reception, I was finally alone with Anthony. He was sitting so close to me, and he was also holding my hand. My heart started racing even faster when I became more conscious of the dimly lit enclosed space on the back of the limousine. I was too nervous to continue my conversation with him and when I caught him staring at my face, I had to turn my face away as I pretended to admire the view passing by through the car’s window. “Umm…I thought the Vulkan estate is…” I said before trailing off. It had been years since I was last in the country, and it was even longer since the last time that I visited Anthony’s mansion, but I was quite certain that this wasn’t the way to the mansion. To be accurate, it seemed like we were headed in the direct opposite direction to our supposed destination. “If you’re referring to the main estate, then you’re right that this isn’t the way there. I thought your parents had told you already, so I forgot to mention it to you again, but we won’t be staying at my family’s main estate. Instead, I’m taking you to a nicer place where we can enjoy our time together…” he explained smoothly before smiling alluringly at me. I was too captivated by his smile to question him any further. After all, it didn’t surprise me that Anthony would have a place of his own and I was certain that it wouldn’t be any less lavish than his family’s main estate. Not that any of that mattered to me. After leaving my family and moving to another country, I have enjoyed living a decent yet modest life. “Some champagne?” he offered before showing me a sweet smile. “Sure…” I replied while feeling very lost in the depth of his captivating blue eyes. I watched as his beautiful fingers and hands moved gracefully to pour me a glass of champagne. Resorting to alcohol for comfort wasn’t usually my thing but at that moment, I didn’t mind using it to fuel my courage. “Cheers to us and our wonderful future together,” he toasted as he clinked his glass to mine. “To us…” I replied in short. I couldn’t escape his gaze as I began sipping on my champagne while he did the same. Everything about him felt even more captivating and attractive now that we were alone. I had some alcohol during the reception, but it would be too convenient to place the blame of why I was feeling this way on that. Although I had to admit that it would serve as a convenient excuse if I ever needed one. Anthony placed his champagne glass down on the table in front of him without taking his eyes off of me. I knew the look that he had in his eyes very well although this was the first time that I saw such intense passion burning in the depth of his eyes just like the flickers of a dangerously hot blue flame. My heart skipped a beat, but I didn’t dare break eye contact with him. The way my core throbbed and my breath quickened told me that I also wanted the same thing and perhaps the main dish of our wedding night was about to start a little earlier than expected. Without warning, Anthony moved in closer to me and then his hands were on my shoulders as he pulled me close. His handsome face came closer to mine and my eyes dropped to his tempting lips as they approached mine. I willingly offered my lips to him and he did not hesitate to crush his lips against mine. Unlike the kisses that we shared before, this one was immediately aggressive and demanding. His lips felt soft yet hot against mine as he began kissing me from various angles. I felt the wetness of his tongue seeking entrance into my mouth before I parted my lips for him. Anthony thrusted his tongue deftly into my mouth and my tongue met his eagerly. I could taste a hint of champagne on his tongue and also his sweet taste. His tongue entwined passionately with mine as our kiss quickly got wetter and deeper. It felt like he was about to devour me whole, but I wasn’t at all scared. I kissed him back with equal intensity as his hand moved up to cup the side of my face before slipping down to my chin to angle my lips where he wanted them. –To be continued…
