After leaving Jasper at the border Cole and I return to the pack house to check on his mom. He decides to stay the night with her to help ease the loss of her mate. I make my way back to the pack house and warm a meal left over from dinner at the pack house. If I ever miss a meal someone makes sure to bring me leftovers, which I greatly appreciate. It feels odd being away from Cole for even a night but I know his mom needs him and he is safe in the pack house. I grab a glass and pour some wine to have with dinner and unwind.
