Chapter 4 Are You Worth Five Million?

"Mu Rou Er, vent your anger on Xi Muye，don't provoke me." Gu Xingchen said looking at the woman in front of her.

This woman was Xi Muye’s girlfriend for five years. And she had always known of her exists.

Mu Rou Er spent five years of her time and effort before he finally married her, but Xi Muye was unwilling to let of Gu Xingchen's.

"You're really shameless, you're just a b***h. It's fine that you seduced my boyfriend in the past, but now we're married, you even seduced my husband! Was he with you last night?!" Mu Rou Er coldly asked.

Gu Xingchen looked at her face. She was the most popular film queen in Xi Muye's company, but other than her beautiful face, she didn't have any acting skills!

The few scenes that made her popular were all Gu Xingchen’s doing, she had done the hard work to help her get the contracts.

"Who is the shameless one? You've been with Xi Muye for five years, but I've been with him for ten years! To a woman, ten years is almost the whole of her youth! Mu Rou Er, do you think you can become the film queen that you’re without me?" Gu Xingchen said to her clearly.

Mu Rou Er grabbed onto her long hair, "Muye said it before that you are just a venting product he bought with his money. We're married and he doesn't need you anymore. If you know what's good for you, scram in a hurry, disgusting third party!"

"I'm not a third person, I'm not! You want me to scram? Fine, then tell Xi Muye to release me and give me another five million!" she shook off Mu Rou Er's hand and laughed mockingly.

"Five million, you think you're worth that much?!" she glared at Gu Xingchen as she spoke.

"Then I'll stay here and wait for your husband to come. Goodbye!"

She wanted to push Mu Rou Er away, but Mu Rou Er grabbed onto her hand. The moment the wind blew the door shut, it was as though their fingers would break. The two of them nearly fainted from the pain!

Gu Xingchen held back a snort, but Mu Rou Er cried out shrilly!

Xi Muye arrived just when Mu Rou Er fell to the ground.

Frowning, he helped her up. When he saw her swollen hands, his gaze turned cold. "What happened?! Why are you here?"

"Muye, I'm in so much pain. I only wanted to see her, but she closed the door instead. My hand..." tears rolled down her eyes, making her look extremely weak.

"She said just now that if I gave her five million, she would leave you alone."

Mu Rou Er looked at Xi Muye's angry eyes. Flames of jealousy blazed in her chest.

He carried Mu Rou Er in his arms into the car. He instructed the driver, "Take her back."

"Mu Ye, where are you going?" Mu Rou Er grabbed his arm.

"I’m going back to settle with her!" With an angry expression, Xi Muye shook her hand away.

Mu Rou Er's eyes flashed with a sinister light. She didn't expect that her painstaking efforts to frame Gu Xingchen a few years ago made Xi Muye think that she had betrayed him, but he still couldn't forget this woman. How hateful!

Gu Xingchen thought that Xi Muye had left. She didn't expect that he would kick open the door five minutes later.

"You think you're worth five million? Gu Xingchen, your thoughts are really dreamy. Who asked you to close the door and hurt Rou Er's hand?" he grabbed Gu Xingchen's neck with one hand!
