Cassy thought that their father, Lord Maxford would give it to her as a present, but much to her dismay, he gave it to Avery, making her fume in anger and jealousy.

Cassy had her eyes on that hair accessory clip from the moment she had set her eyes on it for the first time, when their father, Lord Maxford took it out from the jewel box.

First of all she liked it very much and wanted it for herself. But as things didn’t always go as we always think, it happened to be the same in Cassy’s case.

Cassy was always spoiled by her mother, Madam Gwen, who was now the female head and there person that hold power in the Hastings household Mansion. So naturally, Cassy thought that she was above all of her siblings and was always arrogant. She always belittle her younger sisters using their rank in the family and would taunt them for being born to the concubines.

Even though her younger sisters felt that it was unfair for them and felt that they were bullied and wronged, they couldn’t openly fight or voice out their feelings and confront their second elder sister Cassy, as she was the daughter of the current Head of the Hastings household Mansion, Madam Gwen. So Cassy’s younger sisters was always directly or indirectly bullied by Cassy whenever she felt like it. And the younger sisters were not that beautiful looking too for them to be compared with Cassy. So they would always avoid instigating the second elder sister and would always maintain their distance from her. This always boosted Cassy’s ego, making her to be arrogant endlessly.

But it was a different case with the first elder sister, the eldest daughter of the Hastings household, Miss Avery.

Avery was liked by everyone for her kind personality and incomparable beauty. Also she was the most favorite child of Lord Maxford. So Cassy can’t be openly arrogant and show her shitty attitude to her elder sister. As Avery was best in everything and was above her.

Cassy can’t even hold a candle in comparison with Avery’s heavenly beauty. And so as per Madam Gwen’s advice, Cassy pretended to be good to Avery and took everything that was given to Avery using her fake affection. Since Avery was an emotional fool and naïve, she naturally believed her two faced sister’s acting and even voluntarily gave every good things she received either it was food, clothes, or jewels to Cassy as she loved to take good care of Cassy as her elder sister.

Cassy too used Avery’s innocent character and her kindness for granted and snatched everything that she liked from Avery’s hands.

That was what Cassy thought this time too. When their father gave that hair accessory clip to Avery, she long planned to take it from her elder sister.

And the right time has come, by the arrival of the princes in the capital city.

Cassy thought that she can use this excuse and snatch that beautiful hair clip for herself.

Even though, Cassy told Avery that she was only borrowing it for the time being, but she have no idea of returning the hair clip any time soon.

Avery can forget about getting back that hair clip in this life time. It was the same in all the other times too.

Cassy would get something from Avery in the name of borrowing, but in the end, she would never return it.

Being the kind person, she was in the past, Avery would never ask the things she once gave to her second younger sister.

Avery thought that her younger sister liked it and so she allowed Cassy to keep it for herself. It was the case everytime.

Thinking about the same thing, Cassy came to get the hair clip from her elder sister Avery. And like always, she thought that she would get the hair clip from Avery and would never return it.

But Cassy was so wrong this time. As the Avery infront of her now was not the same old innocent And stupid Avery.
