The ground beneath her vibrated due to the thundering running paws of the wolves coming towards her way. This was the worst. Knowing that you would die and also wait for it to happen while you could feel the death coming towards you with an anticipated heart.

Even the knowledge of knowing that they would die soon, would put other people in distress. Then just think of Avery who was laid on the ground waiting to be eaten by those deadly creatures.

She had the chance to kill herself to save herself from this cruelty than to put herself in this misery. But she didn’t want to do that. She wanted to feel the pain of her death, every inch of her flesh being teared and aching in pain, so that it can be the cause for her enemy’s cruel punishment.

She offered herself and wanted to endure the pain and sufferings to which she believed that the god will punish the evil doers.

This is the only thing she can offer to the gods in her pitiful state now. So she happily and bravely embraced her doom.

When she heard the snarling of the wolves near her, she knows that it was her last breathing moment in this pathetic life of hers. The god of death is waiting for her in the form of large wolves, which are very eager to give her, her cruel death without having any intention of showing mercy to her poor soul.

Like they said, the god of death was really cruel.

Even though she made up her mind to die in the hands of those nasty wolves, but when she heard their snarls, it did shook her to her core and sent cold shivers to run down her spine.

She smiled a rare smile and said her goodbyes to her sweet mother, her brother and to her innocent unborn child.

She felt the excruciating pain in her body, when the sharp canines of the wolves sunk in the flesh of her body.

The pain was beyond the world, and Avery gritted her teeth hard not to cry out in pain, that she nearly broke her teeth at the amount of pressure she put on them.

But she soon lost it and cried out in pain, when the wolves tore a part of her flesh from her body.

She began to go in and out of consciousness due to too much pain and blood loss from before and now.

When she had her last bit consciousness, she prayed to the gods above, to make the evil doers to pay for their crimes.

She swear to herself that she will seek her vengeance and get her revenge in any form possible if she had chance. She swore to be even a ghost in the nether world and will haunt her perpetrators.

“I swear with the amount of pain I am bearing now, that I will get my revenge in my other life. I will be back”, was Avery’s last words, when she slipped out of her remaining consciousness.

The dark stormy grey clouds accumulating above in the sky, the rumbling thunder and the blinding lightening, the raging wind and the trees around the forest stood witness to her last breath that Avery took, before closing her eyes.

With that, an innocent soul as pure as the rain water from the sky, was tainted and tortured to take her last breath.

Even the mother goddess of nature could not bear the loss of her innocent children and the amount of pain they were subjected to, as she cried her eyes out in the form of rain.
