Third prince Theodore was waiting in a private room in an inn in the crowded market place, waiting for someone.

Behind the third prince, his right hand man, Mason stood, with both of the men cladded in a disguise, so as to not to give out their identities.

Third prince Theodore was sipping on the tea, when the door to the private room was knocked in a peculiar manner. The person who was standing on the other side knocked the door twice with a soft tap, and then with a three loud tap. It was their secret code.

Both the men inside the private room realised that the person outside the room was their guy, and soon enough, Mason went and opened the door, letting the man to enter.

The guy who came inside was a tall man with lean, but strong body, somewhat similar to the built of Mason.

The only difference was that mason was ripped with muscles while the other guy was not.

“Greetings, your highness, third prince Theodore”, the man who came inside greeted and bowed in respect.

The man who came was called Dan, one of the loyal men of the third prince.

Dan was a spy, who acts in the background and brings the most important information, aiding third prince Theodore.

Third prince Theodore came out of the palace this time to see Dan in person, as this was the first time, he was seeing his spy guy after he came to the capital city this time.

“Did you get the things I asked for you to do, Dan? “, third prince Theodore asked with a mysterious look on his face.

“yes, your highness. I have found out the guys who made the attack on you, the way back to the capital city.

When I interrogated him, he spilled the beans very quickly “, Dan said with an evil smirk.

Dan was the guy, who can be the devil himself, if he wanted to be. That was the reason, third prince Theodore trust him so much and made him the leader of his secret spies.

Dan have the face of that of a normal neighbourhood guy, with sweet smile added to his face, no one would believe that he was a spy to begin with, which gives a nice cover for him.

“Like we have suspected, the men were from the local group of thugs, but highly skilled in what they do. They were instructed by someone higher up, as they had received their payments in gold coins.

This was the reason as to why the third prince Theodore came out for this outing. He wanted to meet his secret man and discuss about the current situation. So that he could tackle the things that will be thrown in his way.
