Nina had barely climbed into bed when she got the uncanny feeling she wasn’t alone. She wasn’t certain why. A quick search of her apartment, even though it was well warded against intruders, told her no one was there. At least nothing corporal. She wasn’t foolish enough, however, to think someone couldn’t have sent a non-corporal being into her place, with the intention of trying to terrorize her into leaving so that they could capture her when she did.
