Esme's POV I woke up in the early morning hours when I heard the howling wind blow open a window. It must've started raining after Xavier and I went to bed last night. The skies were still dark but from the clock on the bedside table, I could see it was just after five in the morning. I rubbed my eyes and sat up slowly. My vision blurred some but evened out after a few seconds. Apart from the window opening and crashing against the wall waking me up, I'm sure my stomach felt like it wanted to just give up right then as I sat up fully. If the window hadn't woken me then me feeling sick would've woken me I am sure. I carefully got up from bed and walked around it and over to the bathroom.
