Molly Everything looked great, and I was super excited to see their faces. When I heard them coming down the stairs, my nerves came back in full force. I wasn’t a stranger to them, but I hadn’t spent all that much time with them either. The boys were first to charge into the dining room and I smiled. They were like mini versions of Jaden. They both had his lighter skin tone and his sandy blonde hair. The blue eyes shone with curiosity as they checked out the spread Jaden and I had laid out. The girls were next to come in and while they were also light-toned, their hair was darker. Their eyes were also a darker shade of blue. But it was undeniable that they were Jaden’s children. “Would you look at this?!” one of the boys remarked, and it took me a minute to realize that he was Michael.
