“Jaden? Are you awake?” Molly asked as she stepped into my line of sight. She smiled softly as she gazed down at me, and I did my best to smile back at her. “It’s time for me to get the kids from school…I’m going to stop by the grocery store and pick up a few things, and then I thought we’d get some takeout from the bar…do you think you can stomach a greasy cheeseburger?”
“Definitely,” I replied as my mouth started to water in anticipation of the delicious cheeseburger.
