Birthday party

Alberto POV 

     Today was November twenty four yesterday Michael turn two and tomorrow Alondra and Adriano were to turn three. But today is Saturday so the birthday party is today everything was ready blue balloons, green balloons, and pink balloons were seeing everywhere. The tables were nicely set, everything was ready. Adriana come out the house to the back were everything was set up even an inflatable jumper was here. The kids saw all this and went running to the jumper,  she looks concern “what’s wrong?” I asked “it’s Mariana she was due last week but it seems her daughter will be here late.” “Didn’t she got to the doctor?” “Yes the doctor said it was normal on first time pregnancies to either give birth early or late.” Then she will be fine she went to doctor,” “you are right let focus on the party.” I kiss her lips before turning to the guests, I walk to help serve as so did Adriana. Caroline and Jackson were also helping the only ones sitting were Mariana and Luke which I understand. She can barely walk and he is concern for her. Seeing her like this just makes me wonder how Adriana could carry two babies, Mariana has Luke, Caroline had Jackson and Adriana she didn’t have me. Even though she had friends it’s not the same, I turn to find Adriana with the kid inside the jumper. I smile watching her “Mariana is in labor!!” Caroline yield making Adriana come running to her side both Caroline and Adriana were next to Mariana. Adriana then walk to me while Caroline and Luke take Marina inside, “we are heading to the hospital could you stay with Jackson and the kids?” I nod her lips come to mine then she left leaving me to celebrate my kids birthday.  

       Adriana POV  

We Aria was at the hospital with a historical Mariana a really and I mean really scared Luke. Caroline and I weren’t this bad so I guess this really scares Luke, Mariana and Luke were taken to a room immediately while Caroline and I wait in the waiting area. As we sit here I can only think on how it would be like to have a baby with the presence of Alberto this time. I smile as I think about it things have been good between us we have been working together at home and in the mafia. The life in the mafia is not easy but we are doing alright. “What are you thinking?” Caroline broke my train of thoughts “nothing just how we weren’t this bad how is it that Mariana being the quiet of us three is also the only that screams at labor?” We both burst into laughers that was until Luke walk back to us, “so what did the doctor said?” Caroline asked “that is going to be a long labor basically, she is definitely going into labor but she is only three dilated or something like that.” Caroline turn to look at me then started laughing again I tried holding it, “so is she having epidural?” I ask “yes she already has,” “so then why the screaming?” Caroline asked which I was going to ask “she is way to excited to meet our baby girl.” This time I couldn’t hold it and join a laughing Caroline, Mariana was happy so she was a screaming excited friend. I call Alberto to make sure everything was right back at home. 

         Alberto POV 

It’s been three months since my children turn three and everything has been amazing. Luke is a happy father he carries Carol his daughter everywhere around the house it makes me wonder would I have been the same to the twins? I would never know but I am happy with our little family Adriana, the twins it’s all I need although this morning she was acting strange. “Hey baby are you alright?” I ask her as soon as she came to the have breakfast with everyone. “Why? Do I not look alright?” What? Yeah definitely something is wrong she doesn’t speak like this. Luke and Jackson give each other some kind of signal the girls just giggle what am I missing? She sit down next to me and started eating “is everything ready for today’s meeting?” She asked all of a sudden “yes it is, meeting is at one o’clock.” Jackson answered “good I have a few things to see before the meeting” she said. After breakfast I went to Adriana’s office to talk to her “hey baby I’d there anything you need help with?” I normally don’t ask because it’s just paperwork she does here and usually she is good at asking for help when she needs it other than that no one bothers. “Did I asked for your help?” “No” “good then go along” definitely something is not right and I will find out so I head to look for Jackson and Luke. They were in the kids playroom “hey guys do you know what is wrong with Adriana?” “What? Nothings wrong with her,” Luke answered “he means as her attitude,” Jackson said while snaking Luke in the head. “Oh you mean you don’t know yet, well then you better wait for the meeting and you will find out.” Luke said while getting up with carol in arms, I wonder what is all this about. At the meeting everyone was quiet like always until Adriana spoke “so listen everyone, we have been doing great everything looks fine in papers now we have a few to discuss but first I want to hear about the engagement Enzo.” We all turn to Enzo “I found the love of my life I hope so we are soon to be married.” “Good so does she know about the business m? Will she be involve some way?” Adriana being Adriana everything normal there, “she knows but she will not be involve,” “her choice or yours?” Now that is not my Adriana why is she acting weird? “Her choice” “Good now next is the guns, they are ready to be sold you can all let know the contacts I gave each of you last month you are to contact them let them know the guns are ready to be sold. Once they accept to buy to tell them the date I have scheduled and the time I will be present at the delivery.” Everyone nods then she peaks again, “Good so everyone I have to let you know that I am pregnant, it’s not the first time so I expect you all to behave.” Everyone was quiet too quiet what is wrong m? Wait did she said pregnant? I turn to her “you said what??” “Is there a problem Alberto?” What? No I mean maybe what the hell. “Why didn’t you tell me?” “Are you raising your voice at me?” What??
