Alberto POV
Today I was still thinking of everything that happened last night with the mafia queen and the brothers. Now I have more questions than before and not even one answer. I think I should try and look for someone else that can help me find out who this women is and why she is the Italian mafia boss. After I see the time I grab my things and run out towards my car. I have therapy again today, I can’t wait till I remember everything so I can finally go back to my family. After a few hours I am out of the hospital on my way to the apartment, that’s when my phone rings “yeah?” “Alberto I have good news I found a guy who knows about the mafia queen.” “Ok Im heading to the apartment now, where do we meet?” “You can meet us here, we are at the apartment.” With that I end the call I hope who ever Lucas found has answers. I need to find out who tried to kill me and why, right now my number one suspect is the mafia queen. After I get to the apartment I go in fast, there in the table are the brother and another guy sitting in the chairs. “You are here!” Lucas said kind of excited, “this is Christian, he says he knows the mafia queen.” Silverio said, I nod and walk to the table to take a sit, then I asked “and who is she?” “Well I don’t exactly know her name, but I know she was married to someone apparently important. Then he died, so when a meeting was scheduled because you had no underboss, a vote was made, it looks like everyone voted for her.” It doesn’t make sense I mean if everyone voted for her then it must be that everyone knows her then maybe I know her as well. ‘Maybe if I remember the rest of my life I will remember who she is.’ Then again she couldn’t have been the one who tried to kill me, because she was voted in. She could have taken my position without killing me, someone else was involved but who? “There is more” Christian said, “I heard that someone in Russia wanted you dead so Polina could choose who to marry.” At this it hits me of course Polina fell in love, then she might of want to have me kill if her father didn’t accept of her breaking the agreement. But then again she knew I was going to break the deal so it couldn’t of been her. “Is this is true then it must have been someone else because she knew I was goin to break the deal.” I said my thought everyone was silence for a moment before Silverio spoke, “what about the guy she married?” That could fit in all this in the end the guy is who wanted to marry her and probably show he was worthy of her to the Russian Mafia. They if remember correctly Damien and Adolfo were interested in Adriana, they also fit. Too many people the only thing I am certain at this point is that they got to be Russians. “So what about you guys can’t you find out who in the Russian mafia wants me dead?” I asked the brother they look at each other before Silverio answered. “And what do you expect us to do, go asked if they wanted you dead? Or do you prefer for us to go asked if they actually killed you?” I know it’s not easy for them it’s not easy for me neither I am the one that is away from my family from Adriana who might be living her life as if I never existed.
Mean while in Italy
Adriana POV
I know I have no right to cry for him but my children both look like him, I gave birth to a girl and a boy. The boy was named after my father Adriano and my baby girl was named after her dad’s sister Alondra. When my kids were born I registered them under the last name Rossi, they are both Rossi’s after all. My babies soon will talk and they are going to ask for their father that’s something I am not looking forward to. I miss him maybe after I left his house if he hadn’t died maybe I would of have forgot him. But since he is dead and I know I will never see him again I can’t forget him. My baby boy is the same image of Alberto while Alondra has my blue eyes everything else is like her father as well.
Third person POV
While Adriana plays with her children someone is watching her through the barely open door. Caroline sees the way Rafael is watching Adriana she had always know he was into her. It’s until now she realizes he is in love with her. After a while Caroline leaves to the kitchen leaving behind a sad Rafael watching a happy Adriana. The reason why he is sad because he is in love with someone who seems will always love his brother. It doesn’t help that the kids look like him, he wanted to be there be a father but Adriana has never let him be there enough for that. She tells the children he is the uncle all the time that he is feeling less opportunities to win her heart. In Russia Alberto has a plan that seems like it will work he will meet with Damien first and see if he knows something. Then he is to meet with Polina and her husband is no one tries to kill him that would live it to Adolf in Italy. But if someone tries to kill him here then it would be either Damien or Polina’s husband. With the help of the brothers, their friend and Rodrigo and Marco they can find out easy. The days keep passing soon it is the day Alberto is to meet with Damien, he hopes everything is to go well.
