“Goliath hurry up. We are late for Tyler’s ceremony. They had to have started by now.” My sister Mindy is dragging me through the doors. The fact that I tower over her means nothing. The girl is built like an ox and is as stubborn as a mule. Sam, a guard I brought with us, is staying close behind. When we walk in, people give us some dirty looks but drop it as soon as they see my face. Even humans cower in my presence without knowing who or what I am. We take a seat and look for Tyler.

“Oh look, there he is, we’re not too late he doesn’t have his diploma yet.” Mindy says to me.

I take a deep breath, and that’s when I smell something enchanting. It smells like the sweetest honey in a hot cup of herbal tea. I look around the room and try to see where the smell is coming from when I spot a girl with golden wavy hair. She is just like the girl in my dreams. “Mate” I hear my wolf spike say. “Mate” I can’t help but to say out loud.

“what did you just say?” Mindy asks me with concern.

“Mate” I say a little louder. I started bending the steel bleachers with my grip, trying to stop myself from taking her right here and now in front of everyone. Mindy could sense what was happening and got Sam’s attention to help her get me out of there. With both of them clutching my arms at my sides, we made it out as quickly as we could. We get into the limo I got for all the pack members who have graduated. They let me go, and I wipe the sweat off of my face. Spike is howling with excitement in my head, and my heart is beating harder than it ever has. “who is she?” Mindy asks.

“I don’t know, but I have dreamed about her” I say, putting my hands over my face.

Mindy and Sam exchanged looks I can’t quite read.

“I graduated last year. Maybe I know her. Just tell me what she looks like.”

“I didn’t get a good look, but she has golden wavy hair and looked skinny, maybe even too skinny. She was sitting in the front, so I didn’t really get to see her whole face. I could tell she had long eye lashes and plump lips, and I think she had red lipstick on.” Mindy put her finger over her lips in thought. I feel like I’m about to explode, waiting for her to say something.

“I think I know who you are talking about, but I don’t know her personally. I just have heard some rumors about her.”

“I think you are talking about Clara, Drakes ex-girlfriend.”

Jealousy punches me right in the gut. I never in my life have felt this way before. I want to rip him limb from limb even thinking he could have touched what is mine. Mindy and Sam must have felt my rage because they started to sweat and move away. Sam starts shaking more since he is a lower rank than my sister and I. All I could get out was “Drake Brown?”

“y-yes Drake Brown from our neighboring pack. But you don’t have to be angry. He told everyone that they broke up because she was a prude, so I doubt they did anything together.”

Then her lips turned into a smirk, and she made a smug face.

“you are jealous aren’t you?”

“I don’t get jealous Mindy you know that.”

I say, crossing my arms and leaning back against the seat.

“Oh my goddess, you are! My big brother, who never let’s a woman get the better of him, is as jelly as a donut.”

She starts to laugh, and Sam can’t help his smile from showing.

“she’s not just some slut trying to get something from me she is my mate.”

I say a little too loud. They both stop and relax their faces.

“well I’m pretty sure she is human and that’s going to be a challenge for you. Are you going to be able to handle that?”

I don’t even have to think about it. Human or not the moon goddess gave her to me and me to her so it must be the perfect match. I never back away from a challenge either. “Of course I can handle that, I will do anything to get my mate. I think I have a plan but we will have to wait untill the graduation ceremony is over. Also, Tyler might be unhappy with me about it.”
