My father’s den was very different from what I remembered.
He lived here alone since the harem and the children of the pack lived in another house so I didn’t expect the change in layout. New furniture was on display all throughout the room and I was sure there was even more new furniture in the other rooms. I wonder how much of the packs' money was spent on this furniture that would never truly be used.
I couldn’t hear any movement in the house, which was a good thing. I was sure my father wasn’t home since he liked to make as much noise as possible when moving around to instil fear in whoever was trying to sneak up on him.
That was one of his scare tactics to make himself more menacing.
