Finding her way

Chapter 1

Caroline pov

It was a bright sunny Monday morning. I heard the birds chirping by my window. I blinked a few times, opening my eyes. Lucky for me I graduated a couple of years back, but I was not able to go to the ceremony due to a broken leg. I swung my legs over the edge of the bed, stretching my arms as I got out of bed and looked around my room. My walls were pink and I had a bed to match, a dresser and a night stand, that's all I wanted. I went into the bathroom doing my business and taking my morning shower, then dried off and got dressed in blue jeans and a pull over shirt that said Rock On. I slipped into my sandals and went downstairs to find my dad and my mom were already in the kitchen. I saw her roll her eyes when she saw me walk inside, but just ignored it as it was nothing new. I walked over to the breakfast counter to grab a couple of blueberry muffins, when she said, "Caroline honey. Why don't you come over to the table so you won't get crumbs all over the place." I looked over and saw the butter on the table, so I grabbed a napkin and walked over to put butter on them, then sat down and began to eat. My father put his paper down and smiled at me, "I hope you slept well honey," .."yes daddy I did thank you," she heard him sigh, "honey, the Alpha wants to see you after you eat, he has a few things to discuss with you and well, so do I." I was suddenly nervous, "am I in trouble daddy?" .."no honey you're not but we will be waiting when you get there, just don't keep him waiting, you know how Alpha Jack is when he is kept waiting, I nodded as he got up told mom he would finish reading the paper when he had gotten back. He kissed her on the head and left to head to the pack house, I ate my other muffin when I heard her say. 

'Who wants a human as a daughter anyways, I don't know why he put up with you for so long, good riddance I'll be glad when you're gone." I have had enough with this woman. I turned to look at her, "b***h you had one thing to do and that was to raise me as your own and you couldn't even do that right, you think he would love you as much as he loved my real mother. Look at you he hasn't even marked you and you think your his mate, your a no good b***h that's what you are," with that I left the house with her yelling and cussing at me, I never really liked that woman, I sighed as I walked down the path to the pack house, I really didn't know if I would see anyone until I pass a huge pine tree and that's when I saw Sandy and Ellen, they were the reason why I had the scar on my neck. They decided they wanted to play a game of 'throwing rocks at the human'. I hurried passed them as they said out loud, "good riddance human we never wanted you around in the first place," I didn't know what they were talking about but I hurried to the pack house, when I made it David was standing at the door,
