A P H R O D I T E

Noong mga bata pa kami, si Zeus na ang ultimate tagapagtanggol ko sa lahat. Kahit wala namang nang-aaway alam kong naririyan lang siya. Living in the Philippines for six years, natuto akong magtagalog paano ba naman kasi itong bestfriend ko kung makatagalog wagas ayaw mag ingles nosebleeding daw. Buti nalang nakahanap ako ng totoong kaibigan tulad niya ang iba kasi gusto ka lang dahil kailangan, dahil mayaman, dahil maganda.

Itong si Sam, since kinder ko pa naging bestfriend. Walang ginawa kundi pasayahin ako at paiyakin ako. She is bullying me, she is the type of a girl na tinatraydor ka sa harapan ng mga crush mo. She's my only bestfriend, ayaw ni Kuya sa iba. Though since five pa ako maraming lumalapit sa akin for friendship but they were never true to me. Then everyone loves me because I am rich, everyone loves me because Kuya Zeus is my twin. But there is this one guy. The only one guy who hates me.

That freaking boy, that old boy. A senior (Grade 12) and we are studying in the same school but different buildings. Everything changed when our freaking President decided to fused us all. That's why this year all of the highschool flew here at nakisiksik sa aming mga beauties. Kaya buong primary years naming makakasama ang mga snob at mga sosyal na mga high schoolers na iyan. Well wala naman akong against them because I really don't care at all but when nagkatagpo ang aming landas ni Zachary, ngayon ko lang nalaman na may person palang hate ako.

"Let's eat lunch na, Aphro." Said Samatha.

"Alright. But we need to make hurry dahil highshoolers will make siksikan nanaman and they will own the whole canteen nanaman." I make ayos of my things and left it behind.

Our class just ended, lunch time baby. My beautiful tummy is so gutom nanaman. I think I just gave birth.

"Anong gusto mong bilhin?" She asked while heading to the canteen.

"Veggies and Salad and lil carbs." I said, pumasok na kami sa canteen.

"I'll eat heavy today, I'm starvin." Sam make hawak in her tummy and pouted.

I'm hungry but I don't want to get pregnant. I want to be slimmer.

"You're pregnant again? Who's the father? Xiumin or Chanyeol? I'll freakingly kill you." I gritted my teeth.

"Damn addiction of KPOP Aphrodite. Why wont you try One Directions and Justin Bieber?" She said.

"No thanks, loyal ako sa EXO and BEAST. Try 'em you'll love Doo joon and GiKwang." I make convince.

Sam laughed and make iling nalang to me. She's crazy sometimes, she likes One Direction and Justin Bieber. Me likes EXO and BEAST. I'm kinda addicted.

We got our tray now and look for my favorite lunch-munch. Ate Nessa knows what I want kaya she make smile to me nalang and got me what I need. There are many pupils and students coming kaya we should make bilis na. Nakakainis dahil highschoolers act like a queens and kings here akala mo sa kanila ang school well I'm the goddess, aarte pa ba sila? I got my drinks and Samantha got hers, too. It's time to escape. Palabas na sana kami nang may bumangga sa way ko. Natapon ang healthy foods ko.

"Hey, what the hell?" I hissed.

"OMYGOD! Are you 'kay?" shocked na sigaw ni Samantha.

"Aphrodite, okay lang po ba kayo?"

"Hala, ang sama ng bumangga nasaktan si Aphro."

"I hate that guy, porket High School at gwapo."

Gossips goes around. Napatingin ako sa taong bumangga sa akin and I was shocked na si Zachary Villa Rama pala ito. Nakakunot-noo siya at nakapamulsa na nakatitig sa akin. Dinaluhan ako ni Samantha but I didn't move a bit. I just froze in the moment, for the second time nagtagpo ang aming landas, I guess. Is this some kind of destiny? Or maybe freaking not. Nagkatinginan kami for like a sec and then...

"Tsk." Nilagpasan niya ako.

"Aphro, okay ka lang? Damn that boy! Feeling..." Galit na said ni Sam habang inaayos ang damit ko.

"I-It's okay hindi naman siguro niya-"

"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?" I was shocked dahil Kuya Zeus is here and he make kwelyo on Zachary.

He's mad. I just don't why. Zachary smirked at my Kuya Zeus. He was acting cool and nothing, nothing in between.

"What do you mean by that?" Aniya.

"OMYGOSH!" singhap ni Samantha.

"I saw what do you did there. Why did you do that?" Kuya Zeus will punch him sooner.

Zachary is taller than Kuya Zeus. Zachary is older than Kuya Zeus. I can say hindi kaya ni Kuya Zeus si Zachary and ayaw ko magkagulo dito. Baka mapagalitan kami nila mommy. Galit na galit si Kuya Zeus habang si Zachary ay nakangisi lang, they look at each other. One is mad and one is playing around. It has to be stop, no fighting, no hurting. The canteen became quiet almost for minutes passing by. I have to do something kaya lumapit ako kay kuya Zeus at hinila siya palayo kay Zachary. Kuya was tensed, I am too. I can feel it, we're twins.

"Kuya, it's okay. I'm not hurt. It's just an accident." I said, habang nilalayo si Kuya.

Zachary chuckled a bit then grinned. "Accident, my ass."

"What did you just said?" Aakmang susugod si Kuya.

Samantha helped me to stop Kuya Zeus, at first she was tulala but then, when she realized she ran to me immediately at make pigil Kuya Zeus. Agad naman itong kumalma when Samantha helped me, I sighed in relief.

"Damn, I've lost my appetite. Tsk. Boring." He make ayos his uniform and left.

That's it, he just came in ruined my food and left. That boy is making me mad. What's wrong with him? Well I don't know much about him except he's the son of tito Zac and also I can say he's sikat, because everyone is always nakitingin sa kaniya. Gwapo siya at tall. His lips is pinkish and his eyes is expressive. The body was musculine and firmed. Intelligent, coz I saw him in Class A and varsity coz I saw him played in the court winning a championship with other school game. I remembered him, I was like thinking about him throughtout our classes. I sighed deeply and look at Kuya Zeus na pinapakalma ni Samantha.

"Calm down, Zeus." Sabi ni Samantha.

"He'll never get rid of this." He said, inayos niya rin ang uniform and look into Samantha's eyes.

"Z-Zeus..." Nauutal na utas ni Sam.

Umiwas si Kuya ng tingin at namula nalang bigla. Okay, I'm done with this scene. Nawalan ako ng gana. Kuya got my attention when he stares at me.

"You two go to our hiding place, I'll bring your foods there." Sabay hila niya sa tray ni Sam.

I nodded. Kapag sinabi ni Kuya gagawin mo kung ayaw mong magkaroon ng misa. Marunong naman siya magtagalog, a straight tagalog but I don't hear that from him often. Tumalikod na ako at nagsimulang maglakad agad naman sumunod si Sam sa akin at bumalik sa normal ang lahat ng tao sa canteen. Habang naglalakad kami patungo sa hiding place namin, gossips is really everywhere. From the issue in the canteen, how gwapo is my kuya and how pitiful I am.Always in the headlines, the twins.

"That son of your tito Zac is crazy." Says Sam.

"He really is. He's like that since he first stepped here." I answered.

"Feeling hari. MYGOD! Ang gwapo pa niya naman. Kainis!" She's blushing now.

I stopped and look at her. I gave her a weird obvious look. "Crush mo siya?"

Napailing ito at ngumisi. Anong ibig sabihin noon?

"Shut up Aphrodite. I am just complementing him." She laughed, hard yet beautiful.

Alright, this girl is beautiful maraming nagkakagusto. Kung si kuya Zeus, hearthrob. Samantha is the Campus Queen and Sweetheart. Why not me? First of all, marami siyang manliligaw than I or should I say I'm just proclaimed goddess but no one courted. I know binabakuran ako ni Kuya, there is a barrier. But I told him last year on our birthday as a wish that, he should stop putting a barrier in my world. So he did but I'm so sure if it is effective. I don't know but I wont give a care nalang because I am not into boyfriends naman. When I got Grade 5, which is current. Zero pa rin, Kuya Zeus is faraway from A nagpalagay ako sa B and Sam followed, but nothing happened. Maybe I just proclaimed goddess, just a myth so unreal.

Nakarating na kami sa hiding place. Which is not a hiding place coz everyone knows this place but as request to the admin of the school we owned this big classroom. Mom didn't know we are treated like this, I don't want this too either Kuya Zeus. The people in thia freaking school did this to us. Simula noong wala pa ang mga highschoolers dito kami ang hari at reynas include Samantha there. We sat on the sofa and sigh deeply, talagang sabay kami ni Samantha. We let out a chuckle and look around the freaking room. It's all kumpleto. From the sofa to the telebisyon. Offered by the skwelahan and the pupil's parents.

Like I know what they are up to. The agenda's were crystal freaking clear.

"I'm hungry na!" Reklamo ni Sam.

"I lost mine." I answered.

"Don't worry, Zeus will returned it." Humalakhak si Sam.

Yeah, I know right. Kuya Zeus is my law in this room. I should obey him. Well, Sam is rebel exclude her. I just closed my eyes and think what just happened, why did I lost it... my beautiful appetite. Zachary Villa Rama, I make sumbong kaya to Tito Zac? That boy ruined my beautiful day. Kainis him much, really. Wala ba siyang own life? Like, doon nalang siya guluhin ang sariling life para he wont make me masaktan. As my eyes closed I can see that boy's face. His feature and his beautiful face.

Biglang may naramdaman akong mainit na something sa aking legs kaya I almost jump. Napukaw ako sa aking daydreaming. I saw Kuya Zeus and his girls smirking at me.

"Damn you Kuya! I'll make sumbong you to daddy." I shouted.

"Damn you Kuya! I'll make sumbong you to daddy." He repeated, using his imitating voice.

I want to kalmot him. Damn him so much! That bully kid, I'll make sumbong to daddy talaga later. His handsomest face will lost it's cool. Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin buti nalang hindi na make tapon ang food na nilagay niya. He laughed louder together with his girls. I want to dirty sign him but he'll be mad ape so I irap him nalang. And there I saw Samantha nakamukmok nakatingin sa kawalan.

"You both eat." He grinned at inakbayan ang isang girl na katabi.

Nagtatawanan sila while they make subo to kuya Zeus, tumatawa naman ang panget na ito. I think right now Samantha lost her appetite. Ayaw niya sa mga girls ni kuya Zeus mga flirt daw and maaarte. I hate them so badly, too. They are so nakakainis and I want them out of here. Nilagay ko ang food ko sa lil table namin ni Samantha and inayos ang sa kaniya for her to eat.

"Hey, you freakin' eat or I'll tell Zachary na crush mo siya." I snapped.

She went back to life and shocked.

"WHAT?" She bursted.

"Finally, you're back alive." I laughed.

"For pete's sake what are you talking about?" She whispered.

"Nothing my dear bestfriend." I laughed and then eat.

As she went back to her senses bumalik din ang kaniyang gutom. Kumain din ako ng marami para mabuntis ni Wu Yifan, my galaxy guy. When your tummy gets full, your tummy gets big diba? That's what I meant for pregnancy. By 0100 hour, we rested and then went back to our classroom. And that's how our third pagtatagpo happened, going to our classroom I saw Zachary is coming with three boys. Who are this guys?

"Brauz Hidalgo, Kris Dwayne Yaptengco, and Jonah Sembrano the freaking varsities." whispered by the campus sweetheart.

Namangha ako, they're like pawisan and then they are so handsome. I don't know who's who, but this number thirty is good looking guy. He's matangkad, masingkit like a Chinese Guy, and when he smiles bumabalandara talaga ang ganda ng kaniyang ngipin and his tempting lips and fierce eyes. His eyes looks cold but I like him.

"Oh baby, someone is amuse here." Ngumisi si Sam.

"Who's that number 30?" I asked.

I am referring to that boy, wearing a jersey #30, since four of them is wearing same jerseys.

"Kris Dwayne Yaptengco?" Patanong niyang sagot.

"He looks like Wu Yifan." I said unconsciously.

We continue to walk straight at konti nalang malalapitan nanamin siya. Sam was also amuse coz I think she has a crush with Zachary that ugly asshole boy but me? My eyes is for that Wu Yifan look-a-like. He is not smiling, just straight and cold. Damn I like it, I like cold like him. But it doesnt mean I like Zachary, no hell way. He's cold and bully but I don't like him. Wala kaming rules ni Sam sa mga same crush namin; who did the best will win, no hard feelings. As we are so nearer tsaka lang niya na notice ako. He looks at me, for a sec and then sly a smile.

"OMYGOSH! He smiled." I almost jumped.

"OMYGOSH! Zachary make tapon the ball." Sam imitating my voice.

Napatingin ako sa kaniya coz everyone caught the pasikat atensyon. He picked the ball and then throw it again. He was gone mad at me, I know it when he returned his mad eyes at me. What did I do?
