“I understand, Archer,” the Marquis said. “At the same time I would have appreciated your opinion with regard to Mr. Stanley’s horses.” “I’ve seen most of ’em already,” Archer replied, “and I’ve made a list of the ones I think your Lordship might like to buy.” “You are always efficient, Archer, and you know how much I value your judgement.” “Your Lordship might like others more than the ones I’ve suggested, my Lord,” Archer said, “but I think I’ve listed most of those worth havin’.” “I am sure you have,” the Marquis replied.
