Chapter 15 Gabe’s pickup and her parents’ Suburban were parked in front of her house, but the cabin was empty. She didn’t need too many guesses to figure out where they were, and she took the opportunity to change out of her work clothes and into something that was sure to shock them all—a form-fitting black dress with a hem a few inches above her knees that she’d picked up this week in anticipation of tonight.
