Richard's Pov The car made a siren-like sound when I pushed the button, a clear indication that all doors were locked. This was done for security reasons. I started for the front doors which stood open a few meters away. The surroundings were lit eminently by the standing poles of fluorescent light. A few hung from tree branches, swaying freely in the breeze. They made my shadow darker than usual, only doing well to remind me how late it was.
