“ erm.. I .. uh “ I stuttered in shock, Jennifer walked into the room and grabbed me by the wrists.
“come with me!” she screamed and made to drag me along with her.
“Jennifer, step outside for a moment,” one of the Richards said and I watched as fear moved from Jennifer's fingertips to her eyes.
She immediately let me go and walked out while I turned around to face the two men.
One of them rolled their eyes and started to walk away. My tongue remained on the roof of my mouth until a gentle click sounded across the room
“why didn’t you tell me you were also the manager of the company?” I asked, placing a hand on my hip as I struck a pose.
He opened his mouth to speak and I gasped.
“And you let me speak to you in that manner last night?!” I said and immediately began to pace.
