The sight of Alex standing coolly at the doorway brought back the memories of her anxiety on the podium.
I have always known Alex to be a confident woman, she took her job seriously and she was so good at it. Seeing her struggle during the presentation made it apparent that something had happened.
Anything that could make Alex Cruz panic or stutter in such an important gathering must be very serious, and I decided I’d find out whatever it was.
It's funny how much she had captured my heart, I can barely do anything without her thoughts flickering through my mind all day.
