DESTINED TO BE THEIR'S

CHAPTER 4

AARON’S POV

The day you will find your soulmate everything in you would bow down to her , everything in you would surrender to her ,your heart , your soul , your body just everything ...the day you will find your queen ,you will become the king in complete sense .

My father’s words rang in my head as I sat beside our destined one , the angelic aura around her had made everything in me to surrender in front of her , my inner monsters were in peace just like me for the first time , her normal heartbeats were accelerating mine ...it was a pure music , I wonder what is her eye colour , I was dying to look in them and then drown myself in the depth of it , I was so desperate to hear her sweet voice

Her face was as serene as the morning bliss, the innocence, the gentleness was everything that we lack, they say patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet. but the fruit of our patience was sweeter than any fruit in the whole universe.

The beauty sleeping in front of us was more like some goddess , her milky white skin was sparkling under the moonlight , her long black silky hairs were cascading down the pillow , her heavenly beauty was nothing like all those cake faced girls we have met , she was real and robust , that was our mate , who was all ours just like how we were hers .

“am I the only one who thinks she has been sent from the heaven itself” Vic’s voice held so much admiration and astonishment, the way he was caressing her cheeks felt like as if he was afraid that she would vanish any second.

"yes, she is ” I agreed as I laid a chase kiss on her bandaged forehead and sparks erupted in every cell of mine. I smiled in contentment, the effect she had on me was more than I had ever imagined.

“I hope she gets well soon, I don’t like the pain she is in right now” I stroked her hairs, if it only had been in our hand, we would have already healed her completely but we can’t because our healing powers don’t work on her.

“right, but what she was doing in the middle of the night and that too all alone” Vic asked looking towards Chris

“I want to know the answer too” Chris’s tone was tensed.

Chris is the eldest among us. he is elder to me by 1 minute and 5 minutes to Vic ...he is a man of few words , he is the most feared amongst as well as and the most ruthless ,while Vic is quite a chilled type friendly kind until no one tries to mess with him, once he feels that anyone had tried to wrong him or caused him trouble , he would kill them even before thinking twice and talking about me I don’t bother much ..but sometimes I am basically the combo of both...I wish that when our mate wake up she give us true answers because Chris is very short-tempered and I am not sure if he could control himself from lashing out on her if she lied in front of him .

For the whole night I sat beside her sleeping figure and Vic laid on the other side of her while Chris sat on the chair holding her hand...sleep was far away from us ,having our mate in front of us is something we still couldn’t believe but waiting for her all of these centuries surely did worth it .............

GRACE POV

The sudden white light made me groan in disturbance, opening my eyes, I blinked several times, the place where I was entirely white, I turned around and walked in several direction, everything was white but why ...

“what place is this and why everything here is white” I wondered as panic built inside me

“princess” when the familiar voice hit my ears , I turned my feet towards the direction the voice , relief filled me when I saw mum and and dad standing a few feet away from me , I couldn’t help but let myself run towards them , my dad is back , my mum is back , I knew it ,it was just a nightmare , mum and dad would never leave me.

“dad” my happiness knew no bounds when I threw myself in his protective embrace.

“you are so brave princess. I knew it." he hugged me tightly, his voice was filled with pride and......... sadness?

“but dad why are we here and where is this place...” I asked but dad didn’t reply instead he shared a very sad expression with mum

“mum what happened why are you looking like that at dad” I asked confusion and worry laced in my voice.

"princess we are dead and we are here to say goodbye to you” dad spoke while tears kept rolling his eyes

“wh-what a-are y-you you saying dad...mum look tell dad not to joke around like that ” I stuttered but mum kept silent.

"mum say that he is just joking please” I cried shaking mum’s shoulder but her next words just broke me.

"he is saying the truth sweetheart ...we w-we are dead ” her voice came out to be much broken than mine, my heart broke at their words

“mum, da-dad please don’t leave me -” I pleaded but my dad cut me off

“princess we are not leaving you, we’ll always be there right in your heard. You are special princess and you shall protect yourself ok ...be strong ” he smiled sadly cupping my face while tears kept rolling down my eyes

“I can’t let you go ... I know I am not strong....” I broke out clutching their hands but slowly both faded away ...

“we love you” both my mum and dad mouthed but before I could say or do anything, they vanished

“mum dad”I yelled out but no response, did they really left me ...no, no, no. they can’t leave me, this is impossible.

“no”

WRITER’S POV

She woke up with a jolt screaming “no” and the tears burst forth like water from a dam, spilling down her face , mourning over losing her only family ,the only one she loved more than her life ...her parents ....her walls, the walls that held her up, made her feel stronger just... collapsed. Salty drops fall from her chin, drenched her shirt. . she kept crying not even bothering where she was ...to her the loss of her parents was way disastrous to her...her mates were trying their hard to stop her from crying but she kept crying, her mind and her heart both oblivious to their presence ...

the air that was calm then was now flowing like a deadly storm , the cleared midnight sky was now cloudy , and soon it rained...it wasn’t the time of rain but as if even the nature was crying to see her in so much pain .

Vicenzo had hid her face in his chest ..Christian sat in front of her and gently squeezed her hands ...Aaron cooed soothing words to her ,all three were trying their best to calm her down but her cries but it did nothing , they felt helpless that they couldn’t even ease their mate’s emotional pain . sadness, confusion and frustration clouded their mind ...sadness because of their mate being in pain, confusion on why the mate bond wasn’t working and frustration because of their helplessness.

“Tesoro please don’t cry, calm down ...we are here with you” Vicenzo tried to calm her down but she just sobbed into his chest unceasingly, unconsciously her hands clutched at his vest. So, he held her in silence, rocking her slowly as her tears soaked his chest.

"shh mate shhhh don’t cry ” this time it was Christian ...both brothers were happy to see Christian’s eyes showing emotions ...first time after the death of their parents, he had shown some emotion through his eyes.

After sometime she finally stopped crying and slept on Vic chest ...confusion , hurt , pain was written all over the face of the romano brothers ...she was so drowned in her pain that the whole surrounding including the brothers got vanished in front of her eyes , and so when the energy left her body ,she surrendered herself to the darkness calling for her .

“I could feel her pain ...but the pain wasn’t physical, it was emotional...it was way too painful” Aaron’s voice held the helplessness.

“yeah I felt it too that’s why it took so long for her to calm down ...even the mate bond wasn’t much powerful against her pain” Vicenzo said while tucking her back in the bed and then covered her with the duvet...he kissed her forehead and murmured “rest well mate”.

"something has happened to her ” Christian’s face reflected that of the fire, who was dying to burn everyone and everything into ashes.

“what do you mean” Aaron interrupted

“brothers, not here, our mate will wake up” Vicenzo whispered trying his best not to do anything that would disturb the sleep of his beautiful mate...

Both Christian and Aaron agreed to him and left the room but not before planting a kiss on her forehead.
