CHAPTER 6

WRITER’S POV

“h-how I- am he-here” she stuttered even though she wanted to hide her nervousness Infront of the strangers who were devilishly handsome ,she failed to do so, before this she never had any encounter with man other than her dad and Trevor. and the men standing Infront of her were the most attractive men she had ever seen on tv or the magazines, they looked perfect in every sense ,as if they were sculptured by the god themselves ,their aura held power and domination and she was very well aware of it .

“you got hit by my brother Christian’s car so to save you he brought you here” Aaron replied in a gentle tone maintaining the distance to show her he or any of his brother mean no harm, even though he wanted nothing but to take her in to his embrace but he knew that the situation wasn’t favorable ,she was scared and nervous , and he could very well smell it .

“but what were you doing in the middle of the road and that too all alone” Christian almost yelled at her to which she flinched

“He is scary”...she thought tightly clutching the hem of her shirt .

But his question made her remember the events of last night ........the accident, dungeon, the men dressed in black then the red eyed dark shadow. a shiver of fear ran down her spine.

" t-the d-dark-” she was about tell them but then stopped herself from completing the sentence, when she remembered her father’s words ′don’t trust anyone’

“I can’t trust them and even If I’ll tell them they would consider me mental ...no I can’t let them know” she was afraid that they would laugh at her, and send her to some mental hospital

“I-I -w-was going to the ai-airport” she stuttered half- lying, even though she knew she was worst at it but the situation demanded her to do that and it’s not a lie technically , she was really going to the airport. either she could just lie and get herself out of here or tell them the truth and get herself a room book in the mental asylum so obviously she went with the former one.

“in the middle of the night and that too alone...do you have brains or not....do you know how unsafe it was for you” Christian yelled again but this time grace was pissed off completely , she wasn’t used to listen to rude behaviors , neither her dad nor her mom ever even glared at her let alone yell at her and here this man who she has known by just some few minutes was yelling at her as if he owns her

“look Mr. last time I checked you weren’t my dad and even if you saved my life but that doesn’t gives you any right to raise your voice at me .......so keep your voice low” she snapped back in the same tone but regretted the instant when his eyes turned pitch black ......

You are dead now grace why can’t you keep your mouth shut.

Grace was the first to talk to him like that ..nobody not even his dad raised his voice at him and this made his inner beast furious.....being the alpha king his wolf demanded respect and obedience from his mate but here she was yelling at him and that was the biggest sign of disrespect.

But for Aaron and Vicenzo it was amusing and they showed their amusement by laughing hard ....their laughter filled the whole room ...their laughter was music to grace but she couldn’t understand what was happening to her ..she had lost the most important piece of her life but still her heart was at some peace....

But their laughter broke when Christian stormed towards her

“HOW DARE YOU TALK TO ME LIKE THAT ” his voice was now more menacing as he walked towards her more ,Vicenzo and Aaron knew this was his wolf Derek , so quickly Aaron came in his way and seeing the furious Christian , grace quickly clutched Vicenzo’s shirt , she was trembling …his voices was so deep and so dangerous that it made every single cell of her numb .

“DEREK STOP” Aaron commanded keeping his hand on Christian’s shoulder

“MOVE AARON, SHE NEEDS TO LEARN HER LESSON ...THEN SHE WON’T DARE TO TALK TO ME LIKE THAT AGAIN” Derek’s voice was dangerously cold.

Hearing this grace started crying hard out of fear, the feeling of getting hurt by him was dreadful,he could crush her in a single punch , she had the urge to hide, to run and to escape somewhere.

Looking at her trembling figure, Vicenzo hugged her to calm her down and as soon as Christian heard her crying. he got back to her senses.

‘Derek, you i***t, you messed up’ Christian yelled at his wolf mind linking with him.

‘sorry’ Derek said in a sad apologetic voice , upset that he was the reason his mate was crying.

‘shut up’ Christian snapped and blocked him out.

“Tesoro, don’t cry please calm down we’ll never hurt you” vic tenderly stroked her hairs and rocked her back. soon her breathing got back to normal and she stopped crying.

Aaron went inside Christian’s closet and grabbed a shirt and shorts...he came back and kept the clothes on her lap.

“belle, go have a shower, you’ll feel fresh then we’ll have our dinner ” aaron’s calm, soothing voice was enough to make her relax.

“ok” she nodded, her voice was just above whisper but when she moved, she winched again in pain

“wait let me help you” Vicenzo offered scooping her in his arms.

“b-but y-you I-I mean” she spluttered unable form the words but Vicenzo sensed her fear and smiled assuringly.

“don’t worry I’ll just leave you in the bathtub and send some maids inside, they would help you ok” listening to his word’s relief washed over her tensed expression.

“Vic you stay here, when she is ready bring her downstairs for dinner and Chris, we need to have a talk” Aaron said calmly and then left with Christian to his room.

“what the heck you did inside. Do you have any idea how scared she was because of you” Aaron growled giving christian a death glare.

“I know but it was my wolf Derek...and you know he is very dominant and he want our mate to respect us ...” he sighed as he tried to justify what he did just a moment ago

“you need get your anger issues done bro , earlier it wasn’t a problem because we didn’t have anyone to look after but now we do have one and I won’t ever let you hurt her again in any way...so try to keep your inner beast in control” Aaron warned him and Christian simply nodded because he knew his brother was right .

“good let’s go then” Aaron said and they both left for the dining room.
