Fiona - POV I had only shared bits of our earlier conversations with Theo, but he wanted more—he wanted details. I could tell he was irritated when I didn’t oblige, though he tried to hide it. Still, Theo helped me back to my estate without complaint. Standing in the doorway, I hesitated before saying goodbye. It felt too abrupt. So, I made a split-second decision. “Would you like to stay for dinner?” I asked, trying to sound casual. Theo’s lips curved into a smile, the kind that made my stomach flutter. “Sure, I’d be happy to have dinner with my Flur.” I flushed at the nickname, unable to control the warmth that spread through me whenever he said it.
