After making Arishka eat Aaina was about to make her sleep in her room when suddenly Aahan and Ayan came back.
Aaina didn't pay them any attention but soon they both screamed in unison.
"Aaina what are you doing with Arishka?" They both asked.
Aaina stopped in her tracks as she heard them both. She turn to see them and they are looking shocked.
"Do you know her?" Aaina asked with a straight face.
"Are you freaking kidding me? She is Arjun's niece. She is their elder sister's daughter, who died on the day," Ayan trailed off.
"If she is his niece then what the hell she was doing all alone in the streets? Her aunt has left her in the park alone. Thanks to God she asked me for help what would have happened if someone else took her? You know how many dangers are lurking around. Not the kids are safe today from some monsters who are living in human shape, "Aaina said venomously.
"He is trying to win her custody from her uncle and aunt. And he is winning it but I don't know what happened and how. Wait I need to inform him about Arishka, "Aahan said and called Arjun.
" Arishka baby why were you roaming alone? You should have called your mamu (Maternal uncle) or masi (aunt) why didn't you called them? "Ayan asked her.
"Bhai she is five years old. She doesn't have the sense to call them. She is kid for god sake, "Aaina said before Arishka can .
" Aaina I'm asking her because I know how intelligent she is you don't rem... know anything about her so don't tell me that she is a child because I also can see it, "Ayan said angrily.
Aaina didn't said anything but her eyes welled up with tears.
Ayan cursed under his breath after seeing her tears.
" Aaina I'm sorry I didn't mean it like this. I'm sorry for being a jerk I'm only tensed for Arishka I can't even imagine what would have happened to her if you haven't got her," Ayan says sighing.
"I understand bhai. She is a child and she is only memory of his sister," Aaina said.
"Bhai I'm taking her with me to my room ... call me once Arjun and bhabis came here," Aaina said and took Arishka on her hip and took her upstairs.
"Calm your f*****g brain Ayan. You can't snap at her for no reason. She needs time Ayan she can't just accept everything at once, if he can understand then why can't you?" Aahan asked his twin.
"Aahan I know but you know I can't see this more. It's a long time. And it needs to end soon, and today when I saw Arishka with her and their bonding I just lost it," Ayan said.
Aahan didn't answered as he knows what he is feeling. It's not easy for him as well but he has to do it.
After half an hour later Arjun came with Samiksha and Samaira.
" Where is she? "Arjun asked
" She is with Aaina in her room, Arjun is it right? I mean I don't want any more drama for today, "Aahan asked with a sigh .
" I know but it's the only option. And Arishka will be with us soon, for now let her be with Aaina," Arjun said .
Darpana and Aarika didn't came outside as they don't want to be the part of this drama. It's enough for them to see this.
But once Arjun came with his sisters They both came out.
" Arjun is it going to be like this? Can't see this anymore , please do something fast I want my daughters happy," Aarika asked him .
"Auntie calm down, I know it's tough but everything will be fine just we have to be patient with it, we can't do anything in a hurry," Arjun said calming her down .
"Do whatever you think is fine. I only want my daughters happiness," Darpana says this time.
"First of all why are you so early here? You should come after some more time," Aaina came and said sarcastically.
"Is Arishka sleeping?" Samiksha asked
"Yes bhabhi she is sleeping you can go and meet her in my room," Aaina said to her .
"Thank you so much for saving my niece Aaina. I'm grateful for it," Arjun said her .
"I don't want your apology but I want to know why she was alone there? Why you left her with her uncle and aunt who don't give a s**t about her. She was alone in the streets what If it was not me and someone else?" Aaina roared in anger like a tigress who's cub is hurt .
Arjun smiles at her reaction.
" You will never let her get hurt I know it," Arjun murmured.
"What? "Aaina asked .
"Nothing actually I'm fighting for her custody. Her aunt and uncle are greedy, they want the money my sister and brother in law left behind them. Her uncle is not worth of their business that's why my brother in law give everything to Arishka after their death, "Arjun said .
" These people have no shame they can do anything for money they can torture a poor child for it. I don't know do anything but save her. I will not let anyone harm her, "Aaina said with determination .
She is shocked herself why she is feeling this protectiveness and love for a child whom she barely knows. It's another thing that she is Arjun's niece.
"Why I'm feeling so attached with her? I don't know her but I'm feeling like I know her, why Mom? Do I know her?" Aaina asked suddenly .
All are taken aback because of her question. They don't know what to answer her.
"No Aaina you don't know her. How will you know? When you didn't meet her? Stop stressing yourself sis, take a rest And take Samaira with you as well," Ayan said as he wanted to make the matter easy .
"You're right I'm over thinking I should not do this again. I think I forgot to take my medicines again, I will take them. Come Sam Bhabhi we will go to my room," Aaina said and took Samaira with her .
"Oh god please end this soon," Aahan prayed in his mind.
