I was so close to telling Max everything, and AGAIN I was interrupted by Renece.
Ugh!
Maybe I lied to Max when I said I didn't hate her. Honestly, I'm not sure that I don't. Renece is the reason everyone calls me the Soulless in the first place, she bullied me my whole life, and now she's trying to steal my mate.
Thankfully, I'm able to shut Max up before he gave away where we are. Unfortunately though, I placed myself in quite the compromising position.
