Max was just about to kiss me, I think, when Acaisia came stomping into the house. I told her earlier not to bother me, and that I was busy. Hearing the front door slam and my sister's voice knocked me out of my foggy brain. The anticipation I was feeling about Max's lips falling on mine quickly flew out the window. I pushed him away, and cleared my throat. "I'm in the kitchen, Acaisia." I called out, annoyed. I walked to the refrigerator, and pulled out a bottle of water. Drinking almost half the bottle in one go did little to cool down my body. Max is watching my every move with an amused look on his face. I ignored him.
