Ainsley’s mother hadn’t expected that betrayal. Her ex-husband was one thing. Even when they were together, she had expected nothing less from him than what he was doing at present. The only difference from before was that he was free to be open about it now that he had already divorced her. He didn’t have to hide the many ways he had always been betraying her anymore.
