Ainsley took that pretty hard. She could only imagine the pain Sibyll must have felt when George chose to stay with his ex-wife instead of going with her and giving her the comfort she needed. She had just been attacked unprovoked, her appearance was in tatters, and she was bleeding from several shallow cuts to her head.
She must have felt so badly shaken, but all George could do for her was apologize.
